Ahh.. another day Jubileey is throwing a tantrum.
Nothing new here, but might be another "stressful day unrelated to the stock".

Oil and fossil fuel stocks are really going out of fashion, despite the rise in oil prices. Seems like the future for all oil and gas stocks have really become weak (even though there will always be a demand for oil).

Will we ever see a cyclical change as we saw in the last couple decades with the phasing of electric cars in the west and green initiatives?
I'm not too sure.

There's a lot of P&A wells that have been re-drilled.

The problem is, to re-drill, it's going to cost as much as drilling a new well.
The only difference is that there is data available on that well in comparison to new well (i.e. save costs on pre-drill exploratory work such as seismics).

Potentially. But until there is an alternative, I stand by my opinion that it's over for HUR.
It's just too late to act, but ofcourse there's a lot riding on future oil prices for the future of HUR.

Operations to be wind down within next 3 months and liquidated within 12 months.

It's over for Hurricane, wait till you hear the bank balance and production rate for Q2 end.

BOD are appealing on the basis to save the company. But hey, BOD won't be in place in a few more days.
So HUR is as good as dead as the company winds down activities as per plan.

I wouldn't be surprised if current oil production is <10k bopd following ramp up.

If HUR are in a position where they would have to cancel the contract (early termination), this will result in a fee. An early termination fee - at £mills.
