SBP - my understanding is that post 2020 there will be less demand for HSFO and more demand for low sulfer fuels which have a higher distillate margin to produce (more demand for distillates). The expectation is that as demand drops off for HSFO more residue will be available. Therefore less demand and perhaps cheaper residue, cheaper high sulfer HFO. I don't think the expectation has been that msar is going to take over the fuels market as a "comprehensive solution" rather than supplementing with an economical niche product.

If the picture you paint is as cut and dry then Quadrise should have closed the door and turned the lights off long ago. Either that or we are all suckers buying snake oil. And yes when are we going to fix all the potholes.

Wonga - its funny how opinions can change. I like you blamed the BOD for the past failures with failing to secure a LONO from Maersk or not getting the deal signed with KSA which has affected (unless shorting) QFI's and my material wealth along with many others. However there were extenuating circumstances, bad luck and yes some errors but that's led us where we are today which is either on the cusp of commercialisation or as you put it down the tubes. I'm actually 110% if favor of the present board, I think they are the folks who will deliver the goods, they have the knowledge and experience to get us there and this new strategy adopted last year in my view will get us there and that's why I'm taking up the offer along with excess to make up for those folks adverse to the risk. I don't see Freepoint "dragging" a dead donkey, I see a stallion ready and able to bolt once the door is open.
