Ryan Mee, CEO of Fulcrum Metals, reviews FY23 and progress on the Gold Tailings Hub in Canada. Watch the video here.
Bearing in mind the reports that the Chinese Vaccine doesn't work on Omicron I wouldn't be surprised if they are stopping exports of their tests which will affect our government more than anyone else in the Western world since we are the main Mugs that have taken them!
ODX are on holiday. Can't be them.
Mologic/GAD? Could be but just as likely to be us.
Surescreen. Who knows. Are they the only British Company allowed to sell here at the moment? Their production arrangements are somewhat opaque.
Theres little doubt that we are in a position to increase our production capacity four fold especially if Abingdon TT is happening.
So, Is it us?.... Maybe.
One thing that seems now to be beyond doubt.
When the Government let us sell in Britain the Government will buy. Alice in Wonderland or what!!
Nice that we go into our festive celebrations on an upbeat optimistic note.
Thanks to all the magnificent researchers on the Board.
Thanks to all who make our communal journey easier to thole and not harder ( honourable mention to TEMPLAR for his +++++ jokes).
Merry Christmas Everyone
sorry expected timing of Abingdon TT
And if we have had an unofficial "nod" does that mean that there are people in the bureocracy with enough influence and authority to give such a "nod" that appreciate the importance of our test.
People who perhaps may be involved in further plans to take effect around 4 Jan?
AVCT still not making waves.
Lord Hamburger talking about one good UK test.
Agile
Timing of HUA
Expected timing of HUA
Medusa ready to roll.
Someone throw a cup of cold water over me. I'm turning into AgentB
It is strange I agree.
They are obviously not selling clandestinely.
They must have been given an unofficial "nod".
If so I wonder can the "nod" be extended to self use at home or would that be a "nod" too far?
Interesting chat re the SP.
Can we reach 500 in the next month?
did we expect a bigger rise following HUA?
How much of a bearing does TA have?
How much of a bearing do behind the scenes market movers and shakers haye?
My answers;
Yes
No
A little
A lot.
Re the first question its sentiment that's stopping us reaching a current fair brokers valuation of circa 300. Fair valuation in the case of a good readout in January easily justifies 500. Sentiment can turn on a pin.
Re the second question given the pants sentiment pre RNS level of rise not unexpected
RE the third and fourth questions good "Big Boy" traders have the advantage on us that they are not sentimental.
They understand that sentiment has no place in Share dealing ( except if it is to take advantage of the sentiment of the "Herd").
IMO it behoves us mushrooms to remain as grounded as possible if we want to reap the huge rewards in store for us in the coming year. As we all know our Company Fundamentals are second to None. Already we can sense the change in sentiment. Soon we'll be riding the wave again.
Will we look back next Christmas in satisfaction at a year of opportunity taken?
Great news this morning.
Albeit no more than expected.
A further strengthening of the foundations of our wonderful Company.
To put this into context Al in early summertime after that slightly downbeat presentation spoke about the application for self use authorization needing to be granted by the end of the year.
That took many of us by surprise (including me). It also took the wind out of the markets sails as many sold (not including me sadly).
In the meantime we have been selling "for professional use"( presumably with a nod and a wink from the CTDA "gatekeepers")
But its become clear that self use at home is really where its at and it has also become abundantly clear imo that in the short term at least ( until the government are shamed into getting their act together) our LFT future lies in Europe and other overseas jurisdictions. Of course at the snap of a finger the Secretary of State could if he had a mind to grant us Emergency Use Authorization regardless of the CTDA bureaucrats. Is that likely? Who knows.
In any event one of the exciting things about this mornings news is what it is going to unlock
1. Big Medusa marketing campaign. Almost certainly.
2. Snowball effect challenging government complacency and Big Boy "monopolies". Very possibly. Maybe leading to......
A nice Airline contract and other juicy non consumer ventures? Possibly.
3. ABDX TT. Almost certainly.
4. Lots more regulatory approvals. Almost certainly.
5. Burgeoning Media interest. Well from the Yorkshire Post anyway lol
There's different ways to look at the elephant that is Avacta.
Just have to choose your perspective.
Evaluate the evidence in our own ways.
Its obvious that there has been less excitement early summer time re the test than there had been before.
Is that evidence of contempt for shareholders?
I think not!
AS excitement imo at that stage was real and well founded.
Some may say it was naïve of AS not to take into account government incompetence possible corruption scientific agendas and intransigence Chinese brown envelopes etc.
I don't subscribe to that view.
I want a CEO who gets excited.
The things he said about the lateral flow test still fill me with confidence we will win out in the end.
Don't forget we have a grown up "Big Boy" nomad now and that also influences the communication strategy.
Just to clarify for any newbies;
We have our eyes peeled in respect of our applications to two separate processes neither of which are connected to or dependent on the other.
1.CTDA process whereby the inefficient British Government validates a test now and again when they have nothing better to do. This would allow us to sell in Britain. In theory until we get this we can't sell the best test in the world in the UK either for professional or at home use. In practice someone has obviously been embarrassed into allowing us to continue to sell for professional use in the meantime (and as long as you box tick correctly you can use it at home if you want).
2. EU home use authorization. This is the biggie. This opens doors. It builds on the fact that we can at present sell for Professional use in most places in the world (but not in Britain) adds home use and unleashes the might of Medusa. It will come of that there is no doubt. We all hope it will come very soon!
Right then.
Here's a test of the theory.
ODX on the face of it have a decent RNS.
i'm still betting we'll be up at the end of the day.
Hey Bunsen
If you have ever listened to the great Sir Tom Jones you would not need to ask what "Hua" is !!!!
Complete and utter incompetence from the Government.
Its not that they have it in for British Diagnostics in particular. They just can't get their act together on anything.
If we think we have been hard done by we should probably be grateful we are not one of the translators stuck in Afghanistan waiting for a reply from the yet to be set up Resettlement scheme.
I have given up trying to predict the markets,
Looking at movements elsewhere (intrigued and amused by some of the rerates) I can only reach the conclusion that we "mushrooms" communally need our heads examined.
I am however extremely encouraged by some of the movements.
They give me assurance that it wouldn't take too much for our currently out of vogue share to shoot up to £5 and beyond in the New Year.
Yep
The whole ABDX placing RNS is worth a gander.
Its working capital priorities are the scaling up of manufacture for Avacta and Vatic.
Interestingly (to me) however no details are given of the progress of the Vatic TT.
I bet if you'd bought your tests from ODX they'd have RNS'd it Timster.
Actually that gives me a great idea!
Why don't you buy more tests this time from them
They do an RNS
We go up
What could possibly go wrong?
74 Bill market is for the future.
This morning we are squaring up to 137.
I was going to comment that we were seeing the new AS "under promise over deliver" but when you think of it (as has been said before) when AVCT are in charge of their own destiny without too many third parties having the chance to foul things up they always stick to their timelines.
They seem to be on a roll with AVA6000 at the moment with no current financial constraints no dodgy regulators (Hurrah for the FDA) and enthusiastic switched on scientists and medics whose only agenda is to bring AVA6000 to the world.
That'll do me!
I think Timster that AVCT told Myles it was pre-market therefor unofficial therefor would not be appearing on official sites
