Just pointing out that SP doesn't simply depend on asset value or Buys vs Sells.

Similarly it doesn't only depend on future earnings.
I hold Tesla, but don't anticipate their earnings reaching 25 times that of Toyota any time soon.
But that is what their SP would indicate, if future earnings were all that influenced that.

The 'Eyes' have probably got tired of the ungrateful and unhelpful posts directed at them recently.
Why should they bother helping anyone?

A company that's now worth more than Toyota, but with less than 4% of Toyota's production level.

I've got a Sell atm for 0.3p, but I think I may be waiting a while to see that again (planning permission granted?).
If I'd bought at 0.21p, I'd be looking to sell at 0.23p and make 10%.
I think there's more probability of seeing that range four or five times (yielding 40%-50%), in the same period I'll be waiting to see 0.3p.

He knows he can't make a better profit by converting the profit he's already making, from his salary and bonus, into UKOG shares.

But it may/may not only be briefly and be a while in the making.
I am mostly negative on this now, but still happy to buy low and sell for quick profit turnarounds when they arise.
I leave advance buy/sell instructions.
If that sells and it keeps going up, I try and not worry about it.
I make what I make when I make it.
Hindsight will never improve your profit margin.

I hold some and trade some.
My holding was averaging over 1p, but I've bought that down to 0.75p through trading.
I've also made a lot more than I've lost from holding so, essentially my losses are more than covered.

Don't listen to advice here.
EVERYONE has an agenda of their own which doesn't match yours.

My trading shares I bought at 0.24p and I will continue to hold for more trading opportunites.
Currently I have a Sell instruction on my platform at 0.3p.
I don't know when that will happen again but I believe it is possible and will continue to hold for that.
The others I will continue to hold and use trading profits to bring their average down as opportunities arise.
I'm happy to keep holding those though, either way.

If I can get my holding average down to current levels I'll start trading them at this level again.
Hard luck on getting in so high.
I think you may have been a victim of the Rampers on here (another reason to NOT listen to anyone else's speal).

DYOR (Do Your Own Research) and go with your gut.
There are not as many trading opportunities here as there were, but there definitely are still some.

I made 22% out of Woodford's flagship fund.
Another one I'd gone into with the intention of having it as a long-term hold (as I originally did with UKOG).
But I don't like it when things go up too quickly for no apparent reason, so I sold it within a month.
Managed to get a couple of friends out as well, but brother wouldn't listen.
Even told a Wealth Manager to review it again and consider getting out, when they were trying to get me in.
Lol.

I wouldn't say "don't".
You need to be aware that "investing" in this share may have some great rewards.
But they come with great risk and you could lose the lot.
Just asking the question indicates that this share may not be for you.

Our reaction to the virus has caused considerable damage to a lot of things.
Particularly the infrastructure of the industry concerned with oil production and supply.
When demand recovers, which it will (so stuff you, 'Sound-bite-Gretha'!), supply will not be able to meet it until infrastructure catches up and that may take some time to patch up again.

Supply unable to match demand will cause the commodity price to rocket until balance can be restored.
I'm top-heavy in oil anyway (especially BP, which is already planning it's future beyond oil), but spent the end of March and beginning of April buying even more.

I'd be having words with the designer if it were mine.
