Thank you Croq', I continue to offer what limited knowledge / assistance I can to those who ask.
If you invest in small amounts, your fees will form a larger part of your cost (there is currently no 0.5% stamp on AIM shares).
Over the last three years I have invested for the longer term and traded for the short and very short-term.
I am down (about 30%) on the former method and up 10,000% on the latter.
If I had that time again I would only trade this share but hindsight has no value until two seconds after you need it.
Circumstances have changed considerably over the last two years.
I invest in £10k chunks and have only managed a handful of trades in the last twelve months.
My current holding came from my original profits and is a pure punt now.
The risk/reward ratio is not here any more, at the moment.
There would need to be a dramatic change in the philosophies behind the management of the business for that to change any time soon.
Good luck whatever you decide.
We are not here to compete against one another, only to make profit.
