The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Makes absolutely no difference to most of us. Yawn.
Joe80 - that is the impression I get. You don't state 'flowing' if it isn't flowing.
Joe80, Thanks. Could be full well test next then. This is where owning your own rig makes a big difference.
It will take time to actually sign the contracts for a JV but we might get something on expressions of interest. I think JV partners will want to know more about the find first. Flow rate at what % etc. It's one thing to say unto 4.7% but what is it over an extended flow test. Don't get me wrong - up to 4.7% was way enough that we can be confident.
Joe - your point about the stem testing leading to flow rates. I was a little surprised they didnt make more of this. The words 'flowing to surface' were so powerful and can not have been written by accident. Would be good to know what that 'flow' looked like. It is just that stem test flow rates are not as reliable as what they do next?
Putting the heating on in the harem.
Blubay is bang on right. Decide now what you will do if the sp hits a certain level. Protect your capital. I have rules when I will sell 20% for this one because it has long term potential. For others it's 100%. You don't have to sell all of your shares but you will feel good about having some cash in hand and you can always reinvest it.
Not having a plan might leave you staring at the screen giggling about how good your profit looks like and then it can be gone in moments. It's like going on a long car journey and then staying in the car when you arrive.
'flow' is the news we are waiting for. Is it hair drier flow or wafting flow or somewhere in between.
Seriously - telling the market how often they can fill the canister with 4.7% helium every hour is what matters. And a JV to help them fund a helium and hydrogen plant.
I'm sure delaying any positive news so for ISA time is the companies top priority.
Yes we can have supply for more than 10 to 20 years if we recycle what we have (we don’t) and we find more of the global reserves of helium.
The commercial value is well known and any thinking that it can’t find a market is for the birds frankly. It is a highly in demand product. This isn’t another oil or natural gas find. He1 are not competing with literally thousands of other producers. A few dozen maybe.
LB: 'Flowing helium to surface in such high concentrations is a huge milestone for the Company and we will now fully evaluate these results and focus on advancing this project in the most effective way possible; one that will aim to achieve commerciality at the earliest opportunity.'
'Commerciality at the earliest opportunity'. That doesn't sound like they didnt have a good 'flow'. Are they still assessing this or do they need to do more drill work to establish this 'flow'?
With all of these AIM exploration companies there is generally always a reason to plan more drilling to prove out the find and so we get another round of funding and drilling and dilution. This - aim to achieve commerciality - got my attention. Isnt LB saying this well is commercial on it's own? Is this the point where HE1 transitions to production.
I still think they will JV to proof of concept for production of this well and that will be the catalyst to further expansion in Rukwa. I might be reaching but we could be getting amazing news at any time (and by that I mean days but it could also be months). Exciting I think.
Whilst the placing has not dragged the sp down to 1.5p it must have had some impact. We might see this move back up a bit now with that behind us.
If they can provide data on the flow of gas from the well then that is going to make a big difference. 4.7% is amazing and now we need other parts of the value equation. I do think it's coming.
I don't think they need to RNS admission of the placement shares. This was a done placing rather than a proposal - so I don't think there is anything more to do from a regulatory perspective. Guess I'll find out if that's correct tomorrow.
There are clearly more idiotic posts than useful posts on this site today and yet the share price still won't go down to 1.5p
Those pesky mm's are manipulating the stupid. Typical AIM man.
They have already done the placing.
Why would news get lost in the noise? What noise?
Looks like I'm not getting any 1.5p shares then!! Got funds ready and everything. Which one of you am I suing?
Well if it get's to 1.5p I will buy few more. Can't see it myself but always good to take advantage of an oversold position. I don't pretend to have a crystal ball. The opportunity remains immense.
It's you Professor. When you smell something bad, always check your feet before blaming someone else.
There isnt a rule that says that placement share have to be forward sold. It's the exception not the rule. The idea that one entity does one thing and doesnt consider any other nuance is for the birds frankly. There could be any combination of forward sold and held shares from the placing. Hell maybe an investor wants to hold the placement shares and sell them at 5p? There is nothing to say nobody is doing that. Shares can be sold between institutions off market too. It's not worth trying to apply a model to it and pretending to know with any certainty what is happening. It is all of many things.
All this waiting and then speculating. It keeps it interesting to an extent but some of you don't understand the basics. Every time I see something along the lines of 'the mm's are doing x or y....' makes me want to cringe. It's idiotic and proves that so many here don't understand the basics of how the markets work.
If you stand back and look at it it seems pretty obvious to me that the SP is doing what you might expect after a stellar rise and now waiting for news. It isnt rocket science. The market is just being a market. It's going to be volatile until HE1 set out the next steps and then a few weeks after that it will be volatile again.
