This diminution in value is becoming quite alarming. How low can the share price go ?

It looks to me like Schroders are still reducing. There can be no other explanation for the suppressed share price.

It is not clear how this Trent 1000 repair cost is calculated. Is this just the cost to repair all of the engines currently in service ? If I were the chief executive of one of the airlines suffering the consequences of the Trent 1000 problem I would not be feeling too pleased that Rolls Royce have delighted the stock market today with their improving financial health. My question therefore is does this £554m cost include compensation to the affected airlines ? Airlines operate on very tight margins as Alitalia Air France and Monarch will no doubt endorse. How do ANA, Air New Zealand and all other affected airlines cover the cost of having to rent alternative aircraft while their own 787’s are being inspected/repaired. Surely this cost has to fall to Rolls Royce. How damaging could this be in the next three years or so.

I guess this explains the reason why the share price movement has been so disappointing since the very positive trading statement last week and our CFO buying £50,000 of shares with his own funds. Since the last holding in company RNS, Schroders has sold a further 824,773 shares.

Well, the trading update succeeded in pushing the share price above 300 pence as anticipated for several minutes only to slide back under that figure again at the bell. I hope we don’t have to wait until the end of November to break through this resistance again. Has the market decided that based on the currently available information our market capitalisation is £255m or 295 pence a share ? 1GW_’s share sale earlier in the week might have been a very shrewd decision.

Can’t help thinking that any funds previously available for a planned dividend increase are being used to pay for Trent 1000 repairs.

Good to see our CFO finally buying more shares with his own money but it begs the question why didn’t he buy a year ago when the share price was well below 200 pence ?

For the first sixteen weeks of the year. Very positive trading statement. This should help to break through the £3 mark.

I’m not sure what Sports Direct are suggesting 1GW_. Liam Rowley already attends our board meetings so any influence that Sports Direct would wish to assert on the board of Findel would surely be carried out through him. An important week for the company with the AGM and a trading update. I am hoping that a positive statement will push the share price firmly over 300 pence.

A small mention in the Sports Direct results of their involvement in Findel but nothing we didn’t know already.

4kandles, the share price on Tuesday 28th November 2017 touched £1.48. £1.48 x 2 = £2.96. The closing sell price today is £2.96 thus representing a doubling of the share price. Columbo was in actual fact correct in his assessment. As Columbo used to work for Findel and he has been a valued poster on this board for several years, I hold his opinion in much higher regard than I hold yours. Are you a Findel shareholder or are you one of those annoying posters who makes a habit of talking a share price down without risking your own money ?

The first £3 trade, 69 shares !! We have finally made it ! That is a doubling of the share price since the 28th November last year.

What a ridiculous post ajbennett. I merely posted that a sale had been agreed as cofirmed by the RNS this morning. I stated no opinion or view of the business. How do you deduce that I don’t understand the business from that ??? You pr*t !

No announcements Columbo but I was mystified as to why the price dropped after this transaction took place on low volume.

Agreement reached for the sale of the marine business for a reported figure of £500m. I can recall Mr East hoping for rather more than this.
