Investors need to know where future revenue is coming from. If they get a 100k or 200k from the handbag sale, that's not enough to sustain a £2m valuation. Keep in mind that they're splitting these dino-leather revenues up to 5 ways between up to 5 companies. BSFA may be getting perhaps as little as a 20-25% cut of the auction. As for the list of potential material partners, anyone can make up a list. Del Boy used to speculate about future deals on OFAH! Investors need to see more clarity on BSFA revenue splits, and confirmation of confirmed partners.

The auction date, and any cash from it, is months away. The reserve price for the handbag may apparently be set at a tiny €0.5m. It seems any cash from the sale might be split between up to 5 separate companies. BSFA could potentially end up with just a tiny £0.1m of net revenue from their slice of the sale! With a current marcap of £2m, it's hard to square those numbers.

There's been virtually no major press, TV, YT, or social-media coverage or vitality worldwide so far. It's fizzled out like a wet firework. The handbag auction numbers (so far) don't look great. The 1p fundraise was a shock.

Also, need to mention Enfin Levé, a 5th company who might be taking a cut from the sale of the handbag. If the handbag sells on the gavel for €0.5m, and it gets split by up to 5 firms, BSFA's slice of the auction money could potentially be as low as a 100k. A lot of moving parts here!

Keep in mind, also, that the recent fundraises and dilution are being done well below the current share price. Yesterday's "interesting" placing was done at just 1p.

Keep in mind that any money made from this single T-Rex handbag sale will likely be split between 4 companies. There is BSFA (LGL), Organoid, VML, plus the auction house to pay. Even if the handbag sells for €1m / £0.9m, the auction house will probably take 10-15% sellers' commission / insurance / catalogue fees, leaving (say) £0.8m to split between 3 firms. After tax and admin costs, BSFA could be left with as little as just £0.2m. That's not a lot of spare cash. Which suggests BSFA will likely need to come back to market for more funding, such as another placing or warrants or CLNs.

Handbag valuation starts (allegedly) around £0.5m. A bit less than the £1-7m that some have been speculating on.

There's no time to waste. Get the hype building now. Ratchet up the excitement. Either the T-rex handbag is market-ready, or it's not market-ready. Which one is it? If it's not market-ready, they shouldn't be doing a hard launch. If it is market-ready, they've hugely under-promoted it.

Also, where are the photo images, and videos, and social media virals, for this T-rex handbag?

Why is this not splashed all over TikTok, the home of the London / Dubai / NY Rolex fanatics with limitless pots of cash?

Why is the handbag not on the front page of (partner) Enfin Levé's website?

This looks increasingly like your classic British / European launch... Great product, rubbish marketing, appalling hype, feelings of disappointment.

They really should have debuted this T-rex leather product in New York, the capital of the world. Or in Hollywood, the home of Jurassic Park. Debuting in Amsterdam, a tiny second-tier city, means the announcement is going to largely fall under the radar of the big US and China markets, where fortunes are made. Even London or Paris would have been a better choice than Amsterdam, such as the Natural History Museum or Louvre. Amsterdam is a (very) baffling location to unveil one of the world's greatest product inventions this century.

The question now is, who will takeover RPI?

Whenever a UK tech firm does well, it always gets sold off abroad. They never last. They always throw in the towel. Look at ARM, Autonomy, Inmarsat, and thousands of others this century.

Potential buyers might include Apple, Google, Xiaomi, and so on. Could easily see this getting sold off for £5-10 before 2030 👍

Suspect it's a combo of the $1t+ private-credit wobble in the US, the "interesting" £1b alleged MFS credit-lender shortfall in the UK, and any potential knock-on credit or interest-rate effects from $100 oil and the Iran war. Lots of credit jitters out there. Mild echos of 2007-2009.

UK is in recession.

No amount of "0.1% GDP growth" ONS stats fudging can hide what everyone can see and feel around them. Inflation remains at 5-10%, nobody under 25yo has a job, highest youth unemployment in the G7, even worse than Italy, town centre highstreets boarded up, like an apocalypse from the Mad Max movie, roads cratered with potholes, and it gets worse with every passing quarter.

Private credit is a problem, because nobody really seems to know how big the market (exposure) is. US and global estimates range wildly, from as little as $1 trillion (meh), to as much as $30 trillion (apocalypse). Defo one to keep watching.

As for the Iran War, that'll almost certainly be stopped (or paused) well before May / June 2026. Trump knows the optics of the soccer World Cup and its build-up are important. He'll want the bad war headlines gone away, and replaced with good football headlines for the summer.
