The shameless Bolivia ramp, the highly questionable Ghana ramp, and the shareholder-crushed placing being used to pay for free jollies to sunny countries for the Board, have all put this stock well into the bear zone.

As predicted, hundreds and hundreds of PIs got screwed over here.

Banking shares are definitely back in fashion, all of a sudden. But it is a risk at the top of the current FTSE and Dow upcycle.

Note of caution here that BHRD is losing millions, has soaring debt, millions of debt and convertible loans at silly prices, the Board is playing musical chairs, and its revenue is fairly small and barely going to move the needle for Sorrell.

Today's RNS trickery makes David Blaine look like an amateur. This pump-and-dump on Bolivia today now seriously calls into question the validity of the Ghana RNS from a few days ago. The deliberate use of the word "believe" [to have been resolved] is a classic get-out phrase.

The RNS says the £500k will be used to fund activities as "the Company's board continues to assess new projects".

Costs have soared here by half-a-billion dollars in recent weeks. That's more than the entire GDP of a small nation like Tonga! It suggests the company is not fully in control of costs.

CLON now has 3 big "projects" on the go.

Assuming they are real, it will need tens of millions of Pounds and billions and billions of shares placed to bring them to fruition.

Assuming, for a theoretical second, the projects are not quite real, it makes the shares just about worthless.

In either scenario, it points to a current fair value for the share price of around 0.1p (or less), to factor in the risk here.

Some trigger-happy speculators out there!

CLON already spent 2 years getting a tan in Bolivia in the 2000s and failed to dig up anything. Finding and digging up lithium is expensive and will need millions and increases (not decreases) the probability of a big placing here.

Looks like the Board got bored of Africa and now fancies a bit of a jolly around South America ;-)

Keep in mind that lots of big shareholders have been selling and bailing out of DERR. More big-name sellers than buyers here. And DERR only owns 1% of the entire group at the equivalent of ~12p. And Sorrell is only in this for the short-term, to try and p*** off WPP, the previous employer who fired him. And his final years at WPP were a disaster. You are only as good as your last hit. And Sorrell is an analog advertising guy of yesteryear, not a digital visionary of tomorrow. And Sorrell and the Board are lined up for gigantic bonuses in the tens of millions from DERR / S4, for only easy 6% growth targets.

There are four main factors holding back the share price right now. They are:

1. The RNS said directors "believe" the Ghana issue has been resolved. Not fully convincing.
2. The good stuff is years and millions of Pounds away from being dug up and sold.
3. The company recently said it is "virtually impossible" to get big funding.
4. The placings needed to get this going could add billions of extra shares. Huge dilution.

Big names are cashing out, DERR only has a tiny 1% stake of the enlarged group, MediaMonks makes tiny profits, and 73yo Sorrell is only gonna be here for a few years and will be expecting tens of millions in fat bonuses for his pension while he loads the company up with big debt for hubristic takeovers that will try and p*** off his former WPP employers...
