Exclusivity means that the company involved wants first option to buy or invest in the company as it believes others are likely to... GL in your next investment. Severn Trent would probably be more up your street! 4% dividend and maybe 10% growth over then next 5 years.... Seriously though its good to have objective views on these boards so thanks for input... hopefully it won't be you saying I told you so!! GL

As would I... although as you say looking at the infomation available a TO or external investment is more likely.

And its good to see that we are in fact up today (albeit less then 1%!!) despite the rake of PI sells!!

I concur there is no doubt if you are in here long term you cannot lose at these levels.... as long as you don't mind subscribing to any placings they offer should a takeover or other external investment not materialise.

I don't understand where this rumour idea is from that you keep going back to? The company has signed an exclusivity letter with one company out of a few interested in either taking over or investing in IEL... FACT The company would not have signed the exclusivity letter unless they felt that that company offered the best prospect out of the companies they were in discussions with. For me the 3 outcomes of this could be: 1. IEL is taken over by the company currently undertaking due dilligence. Price for which could be anywhere from 30p - £1 (especially as the directors have shares in the company bought way above these levels we see today!! 2. The company currently undertaking due dilligence decides to invest in the company at a discounted price leading to dilution which will lead to a small drop in share price. 3. The company currently undertaking due dilligence decides to pull out of the deal. this will lead to the SP going back to 20p levels. However, one of the other companies in discussions over the new year may decide to invest or swoop in for a T/O. The risk/reward scales for me are currently leaning towards the reward!!

6 small PI sells since my post saying some may sell!! If this carries on think I will hold to see what the MM's do after securing their shares... some very big buys this morning after all...

Cheers, I too am thinking I may sell some of my holding to bank some profit. Am wary that many PI's may sell at above 30p so if i see this happening may sell some too. On the other hand if the MM's clean up they may then be free to raise the price with the limited shares in issue. Will be leaving at least half in though as could still rise 50% on news of a bid. Will be an interesting day either way.... GL

Now now children... you can take your arguement onto the PXS or VAL board where they belong!!! Can sell for over 30p now so spread of 28p - 32p is disingenuous. Will be keeping an eye on this today as some people may decide to get out above 30p.... GLA

49k buy at full ask of 28.5p!!

Nice 10k block buys going through all afternoon finishing with one for 28.25 a couple of minutes prior to close. Followed by a 15k uncrossing trade at 28p. With so few shares in issue if the buying continues the MM will have to continue to increase the SP. Hope that continues Monday... if there is no news anyway!!!! Have a good weekend all! Looks like Richard Jennings is confident!! Bought 25,000 more yesterday!! Thats nearly £100k in IEL for him... anyone know who he is? background etc?

I personally don't think a placing would mean a drop of huge significance (as VAL's 50% yeaterday!!)... eg. £1m raised would mean 5m shares issued at a discounted price of 20p?? so 20% dilution may mean around 5p of current levels....?? Just my thinking and why I think the risk reward here is high...

Profit is profit after all... Def worth a holding going forward though IMO... one RNS and this could be 50% up and not drop. At least with takeovers you know your not going to get caught by a spike!! GL
