It's no secret that this stock has been trading sideways now for very nearly 12 months.. that shows a lot of stability, and is only a matter of time before it breaks out of this sideways trading range. (To the upside if we return to growth as the BOD guides, including reducing interest rates) this cyclical and other cyclical e-commerce will be poised to breakout. You only have to look at all the updates, though not great they are setting themselves up for the next growth cycle. The SPs of these aren't going down but rather bouncing about. All good signs imo.
Yeah, I reckon they could well be receiving offers left right and centre around the £5-6 mark, but it's an instant no and the BOD don't need to tell us about those as it's pointless. Might as well wait as KBYK says.. £5-6 will be quite an easy target imo on a few rate reductions and return to growth..
Would you rather... 'this is going bankrupt' or this will be £1 this time next year?
I've only been here 18 months and I consider that a short term investment so far. Happy to be here for a few more years yet.. it can be fun to speculate over the short term when in actual fact no one has a clue! could be many more years yet before people see huge profits.
So when you say rinse and repeat it has actually only been mentioned over the last 12 months or so which is really short term. But then, the majority now think long term investing is holding for 6 months... imo
That's how I read it Knowbody.. Boohoo investing more in growth but asos appear further along in going back to 'profitable growth'. Well, at least that's what the BOD are telling us lol. ASOS appear more bullish in terms of future guidance starting from this summer. hmm interesting to see what happens.
Thanks Troaj. This bit is interesting and could be a potential catalyst for the juniors..
Regardless of who, if anyone, clinches Anglo, any deal would be the largest shake-up of the global mining industry in more than a decade and could fire the starting gun for more mergers and takeover activity within the sector. “If Anglo is bought and is bought at an attractive price for the acquirer, that I think would send a strong signal to other [bidders] to buy other base metals assets,” a top-15 shareholder in Anglo American said.
If we get the above along with gold moving alot higher and commodities in general it could create a bit of a boom in the mining space.
Don't get me started on that one though. The fundraise itself showed how BEM now operates. Tell the market twice to double drop the SP to get everything as cheap as possible to dilute us as much as possible. Hey ho, it's AIM ya know.
It's extraordinary but is it surprising with so many 'big boys' involved clamouring for their positions? Before the turnaround fully takes hold. Not suggesting these markets are bent of course lol.
Meanwhile Barker has bought 709,500 shares in the past couple months roughly 2 and half million pounds worth give or take. No small top up. That's good enough for me. He knows the ins and outs of the business. He isn't buying for tomorrow but what is to come.. it also takes another nice chunk off the market.. free float can't be big here.
No, that was the uncrossing trade. During the auction period, there may be a point (or price) at which the best BID and best ASK match and a trade takes place. So bit of a combination. The UT happens everyday. (On these shares)
