Reckon so Eric. Ed mentions about there being plenty of other funding options... How bad must they be if the first choice was massive discounted share placement to then have 2 billion shares in issue.
I'm not negative in BEMs assets, they are good however the management are well out of depth with the normal investor.
Interestingly that video was taken at its peak price during its last bull run. No one knew after that it would be years of declines. They were Uber bullish still. The same will be for this on the opposite. We won't know when the bottom comes in until alot further down the line and we subsequently rise for a few years or so .. :)
Years gone by I'd of been all over this SP buying more.. the BOD Instill no confidence with their blatant disregard for investors. It's all been very suspect to me since that 'spike' into the 2s no doubt to aid the underwriters. There has been nothing but mass dilution. The projects could be brilliant. They've just been managed poorly. The spike, the RNS to tell us about a fundraise, then the RNS to tell us about the huge discount once it had already been discounted massively because they told us now over 100 million options at dirt cheap. There is a time and a place for this and it's when they are doing their job and the SP is on the up. There is a reason why Ed never bought on the open market..
If everything was going to plan the value would be X5 at least what it is now.. it's not been so you either buy for the potential turnaround or don't. Quite simple really.
Come on now Eric, how else are they supposed to motivate themselves. They need incentives lol. Very opportune of them. Disgraceful quite frankly, and they use the muse of 'independant company' to sort the options. Aligned with shareholders?! Are they boot! The BOD used to be or seemed to be decent in years gone by. The past few years certainly not.
I can certainly believe the non stop interest part. It's clearly performing very well and Jose is very happy with it. Price needs to be right if ASOS are to act otherwise no point in entertaining it if we don't have to imo.
