yes there's a fair bit of sarcasm in my posts but I do genuinely think its a strong target audience for revenue. the current pension generation have achieved much better pension deals than the next one and also enjoyed lucrative house price rises. can see classic fm sponsored by saga though!
can already see the press campaign; Michael Parkinson in a comfy chair, classic FM sponsored by saga cruises! Working in partnership with equity release to blow the last of the inheritance on a floating old folks home
yes 2reincarnated everyone has to make their call on this one. With a 5% rise and no significant news announced I am wondering what is going on. Not really sure what could get it to 40p let alone 30p when prior to today it was a pretty unloved share so demand was non-existent. Of course on the other side if news does get the markets attention might start to see support away above this level. Id like to see a solid footing above 55p to get it moving
good start to the day! does anybody know the official date the first cruise ship launches? The website site says this summer is already mostly booked up but no launch date. would be good if saga really plugs it. Head hunts Parkie to talk about his best interviews and give out free pens!!!!!!
Rxdav; some fair points but I’m not so sure the final salary pension gang are strapped for cash. Over the last 15 years I’ve seen a fair few bosses get a golden handshake on the way out. Good target audience. I’m not expecting huge profits this year as with any new venture there are challenges but I’m looking a year to 18 months down the line.
"Be greedy when others are fearful"; thanks Michael. Ive made a couple of sub 50p buys this morning and I think its great entry price. Two new cruise ships coming out of the docks, all inclusive designed to milk the golden handshake pension generation. Will see where this price is after the first summer of operation.
The reason the shorts are at 11% is not because Vernon is going to be locked up and denied access to his rat dog. Its because the city does not believe this round of funding will be enough and they will be forced to raise another round of funding. might be wrong but we will see
"In order to meet transitional MREL requirements by 1 January 2020, Metro Bank plans to issue up to £500 million of MREL-eligible securities in 2019, as well as undertake further MREL issuances ahead of 1 January 2022."
Thanks devon; it shows clear as day why the shorts aren't moving an inch. The placing wont be enough to cover their requirements
