If you are referring to the 'strategic review' I cannot see anything that refers to a 'sale' or is that an assumption that you have made?

Reading that Kefi has 80% suggests to me that Kefi is determined to hold onto as much of Tula Kapi and other licences in both Ethiopia and SA. Especially when they have left slip a large percentage with ARTAR that we will not get back! (lesson learned). Strategic reviews encompasses partnerships et al and not necessarily selling off anything.

In business you do not sell off good or viable assets. Unless of course you run out of finance options. I have not read anything other than good prospects for both Ethiopia and SA.

The anticipated share subscriptions to KEFI subsidiaries are summarised as follows:

· The Government US$20 million share subscription to TKGM

· The Ethiopian US$15 million private sector subscription to KME

· the entry valuations are based on the TKGM shareholders' agreement which provides for an internal valuation basis for partner dealings at this stage of US$174 million

Well on the cards. Middle of next month is roughly the 60 days for 2nd Bank to confirm sign-off. I wouldnt be surprised now that plan B is being sourced (other investors to replace 2nd Bank.) in case they don't complete.
