Price is good, AV results decent, positive t/u today. Solid.
Nice one for the SIPP
Results this week, very lucrative divestment in the mix and NAV around twice current MCap. What's not to like? Under the radar of the big boys at present watch this gem jump into the limelight. Super opportunity imo at this level.
Yes, I agree. The metrics on this one looked very favourable so I took a position here on Thursday. I expect imminent news of Wilson divestment at a considerable premium and the price to react accordingly. Far too cheap wrt asset value.
First, vertical drilling is carried out before the well is diverted in a south-westerly direction in order to reach the defined drilling target at a depth of around 1,700 meters in the Pechelbronn strata. The oil well that Rhein Petroleum wants to develop is in the immediate vicinity of the structures from which the company has been producing domestic oil on a permanent basis since 2018.
The borehole, approved and monitored by the Darmstadt regional council, consists of several tubes nested inside one another like a telescope. Each individual pipe, which decreases in diameter downwards, is firmly enclosed with high-density special cement, so that the uppermost area carrying drinking water is protected by several layers of steel and cement. After reaching the drilling target, borehole geophysical measurements are taken at depth and a production test is carried out
Totally agree. This is not a wildcat dream catcher well. It's adjacent to a producer in a known field. Technology will prevail. If you doubt it just check all the SOTA gear on site plus a seasoned German drill team.
This is a coiled spring. With interims on Weds and sharebuyback purchases ramping up very recently I'm quietly optimistic of a decent update. As I mentioned previously, Concurrent Tech informed the market of a substantial easing in electronic component supply constraints. Spirent has sufficient breadth of services to really benefit going forward. Let's have a solid preview of H2 on Weds.
As I said in my original post. The assets are there, the jurisdiction is secure ie Germany and the oil is accessible - it just needs the vorsprung durch technik progress through technology approach to get it. End of week should see sidetrack complete and a producing well that can be flow tested and quickly tied in to adjacent pipework. Job done and shareprice reflecting the outlook.
Much prefer Monday RNS as it gives market time to analyze and digest. Bear in mind that there is no reason for Beacon to announce TD. They could keep their powder dry and give a single news release on outcome and flow rather than announce TD and follow 10-12 days later with flow results. However long it takes they WILL get a result from this well since they van easily sidetrack......a process which is either underway or complete. Impatient sellers may well regret a rash move at this junture.
This is the Texas of Ried," said Riedstadt Mayor Marcus Kretschmann (CDU) on Wednesday when the exploratory drilling was presented to the interested press. The statement is no coincidence: Rhein Petroleum has been producing oil there in the deep well "Schwarzbach 1" for around five years, has now started the new well in the immediate vicinity on the site under the name "Schwarzbach 2" and probably wants to too let "Schwarzbach 3" and "Schwarzbach 4" follow. "We can drill two more wells from this drilling rig," explains Peter Appel, Managing Director of Rhein Petroleum GmbH. This means that more pipes will be drilled - "in different directions, but with the same steps".
Time for this little gem to fly....
