Why ... companies often release interviews or podcast explain the deal / JV that has already been announced. Although why it takes a few days to release a podcast seems odd and only serves to increase speculation.

Notwithstanding this request, the Board believes that seeking to complete the disposal of Imweru to LVG is in the Company's best interests at this time. The Company further notes that there has recently been interest expressed in Katoro's Lake Victoria gold interests by other third parties. Whilst the Company's focus for now remains on working with LVG, the Board will consider other proposals should they be appropriate.

Transaction already postponed by a month and last update in Nov said we were considering the request for an extension to LVG

OK how about some news arrived to loosen the pump and a number of new hands all came and gave it a good push.

Surely the point is KIBO parked some of its assets (rather than divest) that didn't fit its future strategy (energy) because junior explorers / miners at the time were being massacred, gold prices were low an the mining legislation changes in Tz and is now reaping the benefit in KAT with an upturn in gold prices. If we had doggedly carried on with MCPP / Haneti / Pinewood and the Gold deposits Imweru / Lake Victoria we wouldn't have survived.

I'm not saying everything is perfect and delivery is everything but at least we have a base to move off from

Demand for power is huge. Rather than govt provide look at what’s happening in Bots with coal to liquid. Private PPA . Sell to grid. It’s a different model from building a plant to feed national grid to building a plant to feed private business direct / feed the wider grid.

I think the question we have to ask is why Blyvoor have let KAT in on this. What does KAT bring.

KAT spun out of KIBO with a couple of gold opportunites and then sold Haneti all in Tanz . No revenue, no track record etc, no cash really. Minxcon were the consultant wih Blyvoor who have a relationship with KIBO and LC is a South African

its suspended because the proposed transaction constitutes an RTO ... thats the rules.
anyone who thinks an RTO and admission document is typically completed in a couple of weeks is deluding themselves
i think you are reading into these updates and letters what you want to hear ... someone saying they will vote in favour is hardly an indication that something is close.

There had been more action here since the shareholder letter than before it! Might think it pointless if you’ve been here a while but I’m sure it’s aimed at new investors. I’m sure there were load of ****ed off investors at EUA until last few weeks. It’s not stopping people piling in now.
