Was the market expecting much better results? I'm struggling to see why positive results, albeit perhaps falling short of the mark, can cause such a dramatic decline.

Bilbo, why not have hydrolysis stations at large wind farms as John said? This arrangement would enjoy economy of scale and, with appropriately sized bulk/buffer storage, could accommodate surplus generated by wind farms without the need to switch off. A large enough (regional / national) hydrogen distribution network, operating at an appropriate pressure (80 to 100 barg) would also provide significant buffering.

Mark, three funds were previously listed as holding short positions, whereas now there are only two. I realise now it just means their (Ennismore’s) holding has dropped below 0.5 %, and is not necessarily 0 %. Only short holdings greater than 0.5 % must be made public. Apologies if I gave you a false sense of optimism! Their holding has nonetheless been dropping recently, which is of course good news for those who want the price to go up.

It looks as though Ennismore have shut up shop completely.

Somebody's dropped a massive 'Sell' right at the death. I can't see a long-time backer of ITM dumping this amount and slumping to a serious loss. Is this more nefarious activity by Helikon and their ilk?

The platform I currently trade on states lending interest, presumably to shorters, in ITM shares is now zero. It was classified 'High' since I joined the platform 6 months ago (the grading runs 'High', 'Medium', 'Low', 'None' (Zero). I'm not sure when the reclassification happened but it must have been recently. Shorters there, it seems, feel they have squeezed all that they can.
