I don't get it. There have been no sanctions imposed on this company. They make/mine a non perishable good - Gold! There has been no evidence of delisting. The government will not impose such a sanction since a significant portion of the company is owned by private UK investors. Talk of such stuff has been ridiculed everywhere. So why did a company trading at 15p+ devalue so dramatically? Because it's a Russian Company? There must have been an introduction of great risk! What is that risk?
Will be blue by the end of the day.
For new investors what's not to like? They look like they are going to JV. The future is bright. It'sw a more powerful entity than it was yesterday.
Yes, Ukraine has the worlds largest iron ore deposits. You would think this war will disrupt that supply so maybe attention will turn to Africa. This could be our time albeit in unfortunate circumstances.
Because there are logistical and political questions to be answered. But yes I can't believe it either. Fill your boots!
Interesting to notevthe volume this morning.
Breaking news: Webis International [WEB] gained a whopping 4 percent today on 'no news'. Speculation is running wild . Is one of the majors beginning to take a stake? Does somebody know something? With over 40 buys and no sells for two trading days things look like they are hotting up. The 500k seller has gone and those shares are getting gobbled up, by whom? Will California legalize sports betting online in 2022? Who will benefit? Watch this space/share!
If they relist what will they relist at compared to the price when they delisted. I have 2 million. I thought I lost them all.
It's a waiting game. Thereare two questions. Will California allow online gaming websites. If yes who get's the licences. At the moment you can bet on site at the racetrack but once you go online the market opens up dramatically. Webis is well placed to be one of the licence holder. I'm invested as I think this is inevitable. With recent high volume trading I think it will hot up. If it all goes our way this could be 100p+ .
I don't like it when a share tanks so much on no news. Does someone know something or is this just due to the delay. Howashare tanks like this for no reason is peculiar. I hope it picks back up but this level of volatility is no good for investors.
That's a profit throughout COVID! I was expecting a loss for that period. If they were profitable up to May 2021 what have they made since then. I think this is a good update. An uplift in profitability to 1.1 million and an MCAP of 17 million. This looks like a safe bet. There were no gremlins in the report!
Because it's morning and we have to go to work.
That was a sneaky 25k buy at 5p. Itdidn't seem to effect the SP. Maybe it bodes well for the week. Somebody took a punt.
I would like to see them start using the licences. At the moment the revenue is generated on the racetrack in CA. We have a lot of dormant licences. I would like to hear what our intention is with those licences. The annual report is usually 'uplifting' and that's due soon. I'm happy to hold.
I think Web will be allowed to accept sports betting but only on site but it is confusing as to who can take bets. It will be licence holders.
on the move ...
Some industry news about draftkings proposed takeover of Ladbrokes and Coral owner Entain.
I think you have to be in this simply waiting for the flow rates, then volume estimates. It looks like there is something big there so well done if you got in.
