Looks like the price is being dropped to stem the flow of placing shares being sold, each time the sells outweigh the buys they will drop it to this level again, looks like we are stuck down here until the flippers have finished or news creates a lot of buying!

I cant see there being many shares available that the MM's will be happy to sell in the low 40's unless there are some sellers, and I cant see any reasons to sell! This will recover very quickly!

Mugsey, there is another £4987 listed as a buy, have you got the right one? The number of shares is slightly different so easy to check.

I have found an example of a 20,000boed company with several producing fields with further room for development being sold for $710m US, that equates to £547m which in our case would be about £3.40p a share!

What stood out to me was Paul mentioning the national gas company offering to install all the take off infrastructure if he contracted the gas sales to them. That eliminates the logistics and expense of connection should they want to go that route?!

Dana, i was just researching the Shell situation in T+T, the offshore Dragon field they were about to develop has been put on hold due to US sanctions imposed on Venezuela so they have a shortfall in their previously projected production to fill.
