The buy and sell totals are already 1m behind the total number of shares traded today! There are lots more trades that have not been declared yet! With so few shares in issue and many of those, around 40% I seem to recall in sticky hands there is not that many shares available, the MM's must have an hell of a job on their hands if they are trying to fill orders!!

There is something underhand going on here! There is no way it can only be this much up on this news! MM's are keeping a lid on this to let someone in, it will go when they have finished, PB must be fuming!! $1m a month in gas from this well alone and only 3km from the Shell/BP gas processing plant that has plenty spare capacity. You would expect 200% rise from this alone! Bloe did 100% on half a million cubic feet/day, we have 20x that!! And we are already producing 1800bod and a huge new oil discovery being tested, the mind boggles as to where this should be?! Value will out when the financial people have got there fill!!

Paul did say water coning was an issue at 16 in one of his video interviews.

Thanks James, once they have these 3 connected and are creating surplus $ over their opex they can re-plan the future wells with the benefit of the 3D and reliable income forecasts. Once at that point they will have derisked the company a huge amount. It is a good move by the company.

My take on the new well drill order is cash flow. 16 didn't turn out to be the cash cow they first thought, the field development plan had been based around their original plans which were formulated and funds raised for when they thought 16 was going to be better than it turned out. To prevent 38 from suffering water coning too they need to keep the flow below the point that could cause that to happen, so they then bring on another close well which will be cheap to connect to the field collection processing unit and get 3 wells modestly producing oil and gas to become cash positive. The old development plan would have skint them! This new plan will suit where the company is right now much better, and maybe avoid the need for a placing 12 months after the last one because that wouldn't go down well!!

I don't believe that 3.2m is a sell, of course we will never know for sure but there were not that many trades missing from the totals yesterday, I imagine it is a worked buy over the last couple of days? If it were a sell they would have set the price higher yesterday to off load them at a profit! The price was below that for much of the day yesterday.
And why would anyone sell that quantity with gas flow results due this week?

It is good when people confirm that is happening, lets the rest of us see what is going on!

There are now 1.4m shares more on the total traded compared to sum of the declared buys and sells, there will probably be some large trades popping up later?!
Cant wait for them to let this go, I suppose we will have to wait until they have filled their orders though, but this is creating a good opportunity for buyers!

If the MM's over here are manipulating the rise to fill orders they surely have to get the price up to the Canadian level before close so as not to mess with the way the MM's over their are working their end of the market. So I am expecting to see 23-24p before COB.

Yesterday there was a discrepancy between the totals amounting to the size of the large trade that popped up after hours of 2,950,000 shares, today there is currently about 900,000 missing from the buy sell total when compared to the total shares traded, it would seem the MM's might be accumulating for someone again?!

Yes about 24p, 23.9 if you split hairs, that is 18.5% mark up on the close here :-)

Around the time of that trade a poster mentioned he couldn't buy, and i noticed that the sum total of buys and sells was roughly 3m short of the total traded volume, now we know why!! I wouldn't be surprised to see as big a rise tomorrow as we have had today?!

I am sure the dual listing goes someway to dampen the speed of rises with this share, which is great for those just arriving and buying in as this is without a doubt still an acorn about to shoot up with a very rapid development into a full blown oak tree!!
The value of TXP has to be worth many multiples of where it is right now with this very significant major oil discovery (1000 feet of pay zone!!) and news of the gas from recent drill at Coho-1 to also be disclosed this week! Which has flowed at 19.8 million cubic feet per day with an average stabilized test rate over 11 hours of 11.8 MMCFD (1,963 BOEPD) at an average wellhead pressure of 2,795 psi on a restricted 28/64" choke.

I cant see GOG getting involved in a take over, why would they? They are making good money renting the blocks out to companies that are trying to extract oil, GOG get paid a licence fee for the block, a percentage of the oil, if any is produced, they rent the rigs out and get paid to operate them. The GOG is making good money on it's oil industry even if nothing is produced! And when companies leave or go bust they rinse and repeat with the next young guns who get tempted by the CPR's. Their present situation is a no risk one unlike drilling for oil.

Last year we had to wait until the middle of January for the next update following the August update and interims, the last operational update we have had this year was also the August update and interims, I am hoping they give us some news sooner than the middle of January this time with so much more going on at the moment?!

You should Billy, it has to be more profitable than investing here has been!! :-)

It certainly sounds like they will be keen to take everything TXP can get out of the ground, maybe they will even assist with the pipeline? 10mmcfd is worth about a $1m a month.

Looks to be jointly owned by 5 companies, BP 34%, Shell 36%, T+T Government and 2 Chinese companies each with 10%, with at least 300mmcfd spare capacity as it is currently running this much lower than it has previously.
At one time it was the worlds largest LNG plant.
If they don't have the capacity for Royston it must be one hell of a well!!

I wonder if the fact that this is dual listed on two different exchanges in two different time zones is why we don't see large intraday rises? Maybe the difference between them has to be kept small so as not to create a situation where cross platform selling could interfere with the trading and the margins of the MM's?

I don't think this SP is natural, I am sure the rise was supressed yesterday, had it ran away as a lot of us expected I am sure it would have gained wider viewing and attention resulting in more buying, I wouldn't be surprised if this is being held back to fill an order for someone? If the MM's were after making money from the trades we can see I am sure the spread would be wider?
It is a very good entry point for anyone right now!!
