Deos has been sensible here to be fair.
About right, I rate it as a hold or weak buy too. Returns very important as the piece says.
Dogger, I'm all for a wind up on here but you are mentally ill.
Simon, fair piece. There will obviously still be headwinds, the economy isn't great (obviously) and who knows what will happen with yhe war. But, information shows things are improving. Inflation falling, shipping costs importantly too. I'd be very surprised if this hit 25p, but as Jtan said, it can't be a fact that it won't. I don't see this doing huge things this year but I expect the US warehouse to do wonders for Boohoo so long term, this will be a couple of quid again easily imo.
Can't personally see 25p myself but who knows. Medium term, this should get to 50p or so when I will sell.
Long term, this will fly again. No point everyone just bickering over nonsense in the meantime
DC, debt is very manageable and you know it. Tide is turning, no point pretending it hasn't. If it falls some more, I will buy a few more, but this is a great medium term buy. Not sure how long it will take to get to a lot of peoples averages but I'll be looking to sell at 55-60p which we should see by the summer.
Was great to short this one, I'm not going to lie, but I think we have seen the bottom.
What the hell is this nonsense? The price could well drop a bit short term, but as the economy picks up, this will rise. These online boards are full of clueless morons.
Bought another tranche.
Jtan, you have Next shares don't you? Pleased? Could well be more headwinds in the industry but not sure we'll see much of a drop now.
Things have improved slightly. Inflation is reducing, shipping fees have fallen. I'm not looking for anything crazy here, will assess when its hits 50p.
Yeah, saw that all over Twitter. People complaining about not receiving their order on time after paying for next day delivery. Evri are shocking, boohoo need to address it.
Why 40p "soon"?
Jtan you nutcase, you're cracking me up. Do you work?
Don't think anyone is going to celebrate that this has hit almost 35p again. I bought some at 40, will look to buy another tranche after the results.
"Yes because that is the mandatory rule. Anything that has a material effect on the sp must be released as soon as it is known. Last year they released a profit warning on the 16 December. The last time results were materially ahead they released on 18 December.
So what does that tell you Simon?"
Sounds like results will meet expectations then. But the expectations were understandably low. Hopefully they are towards the upper end or middle at the very least. I've banged on about it for a while but they need to get their delivery service sorted. Evri are just not good enough. Ordered from Amazon this morning and they gave me a free trial of prime. Delivered the same day. Different level.
You think a profit warning would be released to the market prior to the actual update/results?
Is this still going on? Hahahahahaha. I very much doubt this will fall to 20p, but who knows. I think wenare very near the bottom but I don't have a crystal ball. Have cash to use but waiting for a true buy signal. Broker recommendations aren't worth anything and there is usually an ulterior motive. The AA were given a 5p target price by the times when it was being looked at by the big boys. Eventually went for 35p a share. We already know boohoo won't be posting great results, this will be what it is until things improve. Shipping costs are falling, China is opening up again. Yes, the war is still raging on but by the middle of next year, I expect this to be up for today's levels. Boohoo do need to take ownership with their delivery though, seems there were quite a few people who paid for next day delivery leading up to Christmas and didn't get their parcels in time.
5p tomorrow? Lol.
T4g, calm down you'll do yourself some damage. I have been a wind up merchant on here but being sensible, these probably have more to fall.
Have read posts over different threads, the link that was posted with the sell rating has been posted before. Also, it said about the royal mail but didn't think boohoo used their services. That said, take a look at boohoo Twitter support, a hell of a lot of disgruntled customers didn't get their orders on time. Evri are shocking so not sure who to blame, them or boohoo for using them. Seems boohoo have made a lot of sales, but discounts are huge plus there will be a lot of refunding to do. Still, when the world starts getting back to normal, these will be a bargain
What the hell is all the sh*t being posted on here? ??
Be interesting if it fell to that. Had a look at twitter, boohoo have struggled with a lot of deliveries up to Christmas. Lots of complaints about people paying for next day delivery, but Evri delivering late.
T4g. I don't disagree about social media manipulation, just look at Twitter. But paid posters on here? Nah.
Aim my old mucker, how are you?
