Just listened to parliament....... following the successful testing trials in care home pilots.....(that would be ncyt).... the sec for health expects it to be in use across the whole country before Christmas.........
Thanks for yours and others comments.
So upshot is, if they already had sensitive info and brought shares they are in doo doo. However if they buy shares and something happens, like a contract win, no probs......
That is pretty informative in its own right, I.e that they are not sitting on bad news.. and buying to prop up price for release of said news...
reaffirms my belief that this will continue to grow. How long I sit on hands for I’m not sure, but at 11 to 12 squid I’ll have to have a serious chat with myself.
Thanks once again
Fair ShaunP or other expert.
Would I be right in saying that when a company exec GM buys shares in ncyt then there is a forced delay for rns release to prevent insider trading?
I thought it was a few days but could do with clarity.
Thanks
Simon
The drift has been repeatedly seen before. A quick rise, no news, and a drift. The fact that the whole ftse is falling adds to this. I’ve sat here in the past watching it plummet. It’s always been the same though. Nothing has changed for the negative with the company, therefore this will shoot up again. There is far too much positive information and product, so sit on hands and chill. Don’t make decisions based on movement over a few days. Wait til the next piece of news, for it is surely coming soon. Hope this allays concerns.
Shaun
I found this. I only mention it as it appears to have an updated market cap of 930 mil euro which is about £840mil. It’s dated 23/10/20

You may know this already but just in case
Your best bet is to gin on sng board, dig out a poster called wedme. Read all of his posts........ I’m not ramping another company..... my point is that he is very well informed on Covid and the various testing protocols. By reading him you will get a better picture of Covid to the look at all companies in this arena. But my advice for time being is hold tight here, at least until winterplex announcements made
The majority here welcome shaun’s input as another information reference to make decisions with. If you are fed up then perhaps you should take a breather away from the board. Calm yourself and take information for what it is..... information. Keep it up Shaun.
I saw the pi discussion. Three things I picked up were the current tests are definitely 10 dollars a go(don’t know if that helps with you valuation). Winterplex will be a game changer as far as this share is concerned( derrrr we know that) and the two experts on there really didn’t know an awful lot about nova compared with some posters on here. They hadn’t really done much homework...... anyway the 10 dollar bit was the interesting nugget.
I’ve been here since March, reading the board, watching all the news and watching share price action, every day. There is something different about what we are seeing here. There is no real top slicing going on. When this went from 5-2 after french deal went south there was mass exit, then as it rose, at every 50p and £1 mark there was fall back. At the same time after a rns, a rise then with no new news a day or so later the share drifted. At times when we had inexplicable rise the shout of leak was made, but I am sure GM has got everything secure, with no chance of a dribble let alone a leak. The example that leads me to this was a rns on a Friday ...... no share movement at all before, then he dropped the rns and took all by surprise, and the most recent example of announcing the acquisition, that came out of the blue as well.
So if we discount leak, and take into account that the usual drift and cash out points are not coming about, then I can only conclude that mms and fund managers are expecting this thing to significantly rise. And not the odd 10% either, as there are other shares you can orchestrate that in a day.
So like many others I’m sitting here watching this climb simply saying to myself, no news yet on all the fronts we are waiting for.
It’s how long I have to bottle to do it! Hands remain flat at this time though!
Other opinions in line or not, with my take is welcome. After all I might have missed something.
One thing I would add...... it’s been a rollercoaster, and not for the faint hearted!
I would mention that throughout this pandemic the medical experts have not been overplaying new testing methods. They can’t really be seen to over positive, in case something fails. In my view that is why van tam is always a bit circumspect on developments. So I don’t read too much into the tone. I just see that the care home testing is vital and is being actively worked on. I have very little doubt that, with their track record, ncyt will be successful here. In addition, the gov are focussing in care homes so for ncyt to get the opportunity to deliver here speaks volumes to me. Hence why I’m waiting for news.
Just watched his question session in parliament. Nothing to report in respect of testing. The best comment of the day was earlier when j van tam really pushed the importance of the care home testing pilots they are doing and the need to increase once pilots prove successful. That had ncyt written all over it!!
And forgot to add that lamp testing was mentioned in the same vein..... I do think he was thinking of ncyt when he came out with all this...... it’s as if a big announcement is on its way....... cool
