The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Uggy in one of their podcasts they mentioned supporting DBRM financially in the future.
My personal opinion is DBRM is run even worse than RBD and their management have stated that they believe the company will never be profitable in one of their quarterly reports.
Yes DBRM who have been promising to drill three new wells for the last year.
Raised loads of wonga and sp*nked it away on zip.
Only bright lining on this story is we won our court case so if the waste water disposal well is eventually drilled, we/they should be in profit and also seeing as California is a highly litigious state we may be able to claim for losses as well as the court costs, but it is all irrelevant to the S.P just peanuts.
Best thing they could do sell up their shares if there is ever a decent rise and get shot.
LOL !
As a very young kid I used to love the old even by then Bob Hope & Bing Crosby movies, used to watch them with my Nan.
I think they are as slippery as an estuary full of elver's, but they have stated so many times they are returning four million to us poor sods in R.N.S's ,podcasts etc this is one dip net they will not be able to wriggle free from and i really to believe we have reached the low point here.
I am pretty sure the sale will go through and W.N will be a success and eventually Dunrobin will attract a bidder or farm in partner and the same for Parta and that is why i keep adding this price is nuts.
One of those chances in a lifetime I.M.H.O and all down to sentiment and a distrust and hate of the management .
The asset value has gone out of the window here.
"Lubbly Jubbly".
I have said before and I will say it again, Bulls & Bears here have the same opinion about the two losers.
You all can complaining until doomsday, but Uggy it is becoming really tiresome now.
I think for you it has become personal, not a good place to be.
Morning all excerpt from Boil's interim results.
Dunrobin (UKCS P2478) - Reabold (Admin.) 36%; Baron 32%; Upland Resources 32%
The publication of the CPR by RPS Group in February 2023 provided independent confirmation of the Company's belief that the western part of the Dunrobin complex had matured into a drillable prospect where a relatively low-cost exploration well can target more than 100 MMbbl of gross Pmean Prospective Resources with modest geological risk.
In July 2023, post period end, the joint venture announced that it had been granted a two-year extension to Phase A of the licence by the UK North Sea Transition Authority ("NSTA"). The additional commitment is to acquire a minimum of 30 square kilometres of 3D seismic data which will complete the 3D coverage over the Dunrobin West prospect.
Plans for execution of this new seismic programme during the first half of next year are underway with contractors, stakeholders and the NSTA. On completion of this work, aimed primarily at further reducing pre-drill risks and volumetric uncertainty, the partners intend to re-engage with potentially interested third parties in respect of the drilling of an exploration well. A 'Drill or Drop' decision on P2478 is now required on or before 14 July 2025.
Heid i bought in here back in 2017 he promised to leave the thread if they hit over 1p they did and he didn't leave he then said his breakeven was .51 on another occasion and once they went over that he would sell and leave the thread they did and he didn't. etc.etc.etc.
He has been filtered since about 2019, i have no time for a member of the BNP.
It is a bargain.
Heid I am still a bull on this share and continue to add and have no respect for Persi all, but on the flip side the two lads have done precious little to endear themselves to their investors and like all on here whether bear or bull are united in their revulsion at the salaries they are drawing it is quite frankly obscene and whilst the SP is at these levels why are the director's ,chairman and families buying a bundle ? Even Malcy their paid stooge said as much , they really do need to up their game.
