RE: About Eqtec !!!2 Sep 2024 09:16
I am afraid you need to let go and move on or invest and get back in. i was caught like most but the technology and potential is now better than it was 5 years ago and key is that interest rates are going to drop 1% or more over coming 6 months that is going to light up the funds. We have kitchen sinked everything including our investment in Northfork that should come on stream this month and be counted back in our net assets again so would rise from £29m net assets to probably £35m+. DP was absurdly over optimistic in his sales pipeline and when the interest rate credit crunch came he acted too slowly but our overheads are now 1/3rd less and we have jettisoned the CFO and looks to be further reducing costs which is what you want to see. The board took a 25% pay cut and everyone in the company are in the red on their options and share purchases. We are waiting on Logik settlement of £2m, very generous from our side frankly, but that is unconditional so now just a waiting game. This should more than balance the ship and monthly revenue going forwards we have been advised are rising and as all revenue is service it is more than covering wages. Wilseyville in the next plant in california in the design and engineering stage and Phoenix are pushing hard to grow this to 50. With yearly wild fires and a real need to manage that better Phoenix are in a good place. Projections of a profit next year when France £15m comes through are real. So if you reset and look at todays £3m market cap do you not think there has been an over-reaction brought about by a disastrous catalogue of placings where the CEO might not have had any other options on the table. We just need that Logik settlement to complete this month and then for the interims to update on all projects and present a credible future. There are so many plants in different stages includes Hawaii, Croatia, Greece, Italy, France MDC and so on all moving forward. The keys will be unlocked when Logik settle and interest rates trajectory is clear but both seem reasonably high in probability. I simply do not think that anything under £25m market cap is even credible so the £3m today is a gift to those who believe that incineration is over and technologies like Ewtec are the future.
