Between now and first pour subject to mine build we will be easily 10p. As build progresses so does price. If you get on board at 1.34p you stand to make considerably more than waiting 3 months and buying in at 2p and so on. i suspect a buyer for Saudi or TK will emerge anyway. Bear in mind majos like Barrick etc are making $150m a month in FCF so gold miners have massive warchests looking for projects. Kefi is pin money and barely 1 month of cash for these players.

Gold looks to be about to go through $5k so might be today. All bets off next week as newspapers will have a field day and monday could go nuts.

It would seen rude not to push through 18p. Buying in background is strong and Metals stands out as a screaming buy so i dont doubt holders in bigger majors might move a decent amount into Metals. Newsflow incoming weeks could really accelerate the re-rate that has been long overdue!

Numbers do not lie and all that exists today is execution risk. If we were in production today at La India we would be $2bn at $4000 gold and not even talking $5000 gold. Metals share price has barely moved since $4000 gold so we are due a correction that perhaps we are now experiencing. All we need to know is the pesky placing offloader has finished and we can move confidently towards 2p as we have been artificially held back while that seller offloaded. Obviously news today on Saudi reminds everyone just how big a deal it is and Kefi, even though has 13% stake could well be worth more than TK in the distance of time as Artar have the money and connections to make everything happen at speed. gla

While gold might have outperformed house prices in nominal returns since the 70s you cant live in a gold bar and if you factor in rental income from property it has performed better overtime. Certainly fiat vs gold is a no brainer but even still cant pop into waitrose and pay with gold sadly so utility not quite there. be interested though if there was a way to hold all money in gold and have ease of paying for goods without getting into Crypto. Maybe it does exist but now would be a good time to create a gold current account and exit fiat entirely.

We seem to be stuck at 1.32 but actually all trades today are at 1.39/1.44 so we should be priced at least 1.4. Not sure what is going on?

Going to be a pretty spectacular day if we do hit $5k as global news will whip this up and onto to next level but central banks appear to be clamouring for gold. At $5k an ounze FCF for Metals is (5k-$1.2k) x 145,000 =$ 554m. taking out govt tax still $400m net profit for debt free company just for La India. Add in Runruno and over $580m. Metals have targeted 160k ounzes and if Dupax comes in we are in uncharted territory but La India is crazy profitable.

Kefi is easily worth 10x today. No question. Certainly as we start building the mine this will rocke and that is not long as fabrication is already underway from the interview. As expected we have the bucketshop seller around 330pm selling a large chunk of shares. Is it the end as price wants to spike higher but everytime we hit 1.5 this seller chips in and drags us back to 1.32 to make their miserable tuppence on their placing shares.

Really hope they f off as it gives the wrong message to investors who probably cant work out why we we are where we are. Harry has never quite found the diamond hand investors he really needs and he has to stop paying people with shares if he really cares about the share price or somehow is surprised we are where we are. The good news is i cant see a placing for a very long time. If i had more to invest i would at these levels but have a very decent outsized holding and not spare powder today.

Would be great is results out tomorrow as could set the touchpaper alight. I am also a lot more positive about Dupax as now police and courts are fully on side Metals can get back to business. Given Metals are just extracting ore the impact is minimal as when we have finished it is all turned back to nature. Compare that to artisanal miners that strip land and poison rivers we are probably better custodians. Anyway market is not even priced in Dupax but i do sense maybe since news on 13th Jan that things are moving along and maybe Metal can go public on their gold grades that were clearly shown in the photo of cores.

Do not want to say as i will be shot down but given gold is almost up 50% since he said that and it is all profit somehow our FCF from next year is going to be crazy. Our forecast PE of 1 is now looking pessimistic!

Yes. it is pretty clear we have a sporadic seller from the placing but that cant last forever. The market wants to pop go to 1.5-.1.8 but constantly having to churn over the placing stock still floating around. Just wish Harry carry out his placing with those with stronger hands. Gold up 10% in a month and Kefi is down 10% in a month. Go figure? We just added around $64m to TK FCF on the $400 rise that should translated into a 30% rise in Kefi, given our leverage. However we go into reverse and stay as the cheapest miner in the world based on gold in the ground with production is less than 18 months. We are barely worth more than we have invested to date over last 12 years. Not selling a single bean until we are 15p and handing out 1.5p dividend!

Punter you have to imagine that if you can sell 2m at mid market price then the buyer is going to have to up their price to tease some stock from pis and hence the rise all afternoon as that buyer has been filling their order. Pretty simple to check the tailwinds so to speak. Been a some headwind at 16.5 but hopefully those sellers will be cleared as the focus now is really towards 20p.

Yes. This 15m sell from yesterday held up proceedings this morning. Pity that poor sod. Terrible timing. Only strategy is hodl or you risk losing the leaps. Next one will come from Saudi and then after each update in mine build. Gold price will provide the wind in our sails overall. How we are not at 2p i simply do not know, although placing overhang has a lot answer for but maybe that 15m sell cleared it as we feel very very indervalued today.

Last news on Dupax was 13th Jan when courts got police to remove the remaining barricades and explain politely to anyone who comes back would be arrested for contempt. I think Darren can work over the local communities and get on side. It really is a tiny number of people and the rent a mob brigade that move onto next shiny thing. Offer of some jobs and community contribution and jobs a gooden. I think only reason for delay of results is to let things settle and get rule on law on side. This is now out of way and that photo of serious gold in those samples gave an indication. Darren can hold onto results until things have got sorted an local community get involved.
