sentiment means more than the long term analysis these days, your average 'furlough' investor just sees numbers on a screen. This would move on the buzz alone, thats how it works.. even though the maths looks great too. And with regards to the hedge, no one knows the details, you hedge to get a fixed price for your commodity or product to reduce risk. There will 100% be a clause in the contract that with no or delayed gas then we wouldn't deliver. No one in their right mind would sign up to, worst case scenario, be liable for the cost of the gas if there wasn't any! Thats more risky that hiding in the fist place! (the trolls will use any scare tactic truth or not). We will get and RNS in the next 72 hours either way, I'm betting lovely flowing gas ..
