I dont think they would be at a loss but I'm not sure of their AVG.
I get what you're saying. Its only because results are out soon I said that. Seen it too many times. Although I am surprised that this is trading like this now cinemas are open yet was double when they were not. If it isnt offloading, not sure what it is. Hope they're not mind.
Yeh but Cineworld top the list, again. My guess is that Jhango are offloading which doesnt bother me. However if the news next month isnt good and they have offloaded, I'll be annoyed. Never happy when the big boys get to find out news first. Always happens regardless of whether its allowed or not.
Time will tell. I hope they're not obviously. But I also think the daily drops at the min are more than a bearish market.
My worry is the big boys always seem to know whats going on before us smaller lot and the drops as of late have been overdone. I just hope its not bad news on the 12th and that's why we've been dropping so much. If its bad news it will clearly drop further. If its good news, doubt it will recover enough to make up for recent losses. Someone is either offloading or there's news thats known to others except us.
You say that but its been a drop since 1.20...
I'm all for it rising, but damn.
You have 3 posts. All warning people about CINE share price. Seems legit.
That's like me registering an account and being 'nice' by going on a LSE chat board to let people know that a stock is going to crash. Ulterior motive...
Very frustrating movement in share price. When there was a lot of uncertainty the sp kept going north. Since the easing of restrictions, opening back up etc, we seem to be in a consistent downwards trend. Very frustrating and worrying. Don't know why people keep saying takeover. Didn't happen at the lowest which was far lower than now so don't see why it would happen now. What's worrying however is the near daily drops. Makes no sense.
So far, $292.1M worldwide. Not out in USA till Friday. UK, Thursday.
I don't think its the case, but for discussion sake, what happens in the event of a takeover? Surely your shares get sold automatically at a 'premium' to the current SP. But that premium could be small surely, i.e. 10% and therefore a lot of investors would lose out a lot of money.
People normally say on discussion boards about a takeover, and I wonder if its just me that thinks 'I hope not because that wipes out the reason I got invested. Wipes out profit, and for a lot of people creates a physical loss'
Not personally referencing you but I always find it surprising when people say about investing in the hundreds. When you do a 400 trade (as an example) you have to pay to buy and sell the shares. To buy, its circa £13, not to mention stamp duty?
Either way, if I had £2400 in here, the movement really wouldn't bother me.
If you have x10 that (based on the recent highs of £1.20) then I'd be more annoyed. I.e. if you were me ;)
At the end of the day, its very unlikely for anyone to buy at the very bottom nor sell at the very top. I've managed to reduce my AVG to £1, yet it still drops. As long as the company stays afloat, there is no loss other than on paper. I like you cant wait to see this start to rise again, but it is what it is. If it was that easy, nobody would make money as you need a buyer for every seller. Where will the price go over the coming weeks and months? Who knows. But long term, as long as the company stays afloat, the prospects are really promising from where it sits today. You only have to look at the film lineups, the fact that revenue is being generated again, and that the world is slowly going back to normal.
Bank of America reduces from 6.319000% to 0.768000% (Unless I'm reading it wrong as these don't display well on mobiles).
"Show me the MONEY!"
You know the film.
The whole time this was going off based off nothing, i.e. cinemas were closed, there were doubts about funds/being able to survive the length of closure etc, there was nothing but sentiment, yet it kept rising.
Now we know how long the chain can last without funds, cinemas are opening, lineup of films is strong due to all the delays, vaccinations are going well, restrictions are easing, and we fall (pretty much daily).
Sad but true, sentiment means more than facts. Just not sure why the sentiment isnt hear at the min. It is from most on the board, but as a whole...
Hopefully by year end, with films such as Peter Rabbit 2, A Quiet Place Part II, The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, Fast & Furious 9, The Suicide Squad, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, No Time to Die, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Top Gun: Maverick, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Spider-Man: No Way Home and The Matrix 4, facts wont just be strong but so will sentiment - to the point of being well above the current SP.
150p-175p by EOY.
737p then is now 426p (give or take a penny). Don't bother looking at share charts on here as they don't account for dilution etc. Instead, use Google charts which factor this in.
So, no, 737p isn't going to happen. If it did, it would be the highest its ever been by a big margin. Even 426p isn't going to happen anytime soon as that's the strongest point its ever been. I think getting to half of this would be a much more realistic aim, but that's still going to take a while.
If I felt that way I wouldnt have reduced my avg.
Same as you. Bought in at the wrong time (1.20) managed to reduce to 1.00. Had thought that by now it would be above £1 with cinemas opening etc, but guess not.
That's me. Bought in at 1.20. Managed to reduce to 1.08
Doubt I'll be seeing that for a long time now, sadly.
It also says EUR, so I assume that's £1.11
Taste of my own medicine? Not sure whats that's supposed to mean. You make it sound like I was deramping. Strange. Welcome to my filter list.
