A very sorry end - I still had that glimmer of hope that the drill bit would get lucky again but even that has now evaporated. 6 months to find a new strategy or that’s well and truly the end. Something tells me the board will likely have their own greedy eyes on as much of the £11m they can get their hands on

Agreed. It’s been a long old while since a ‘feel good’ day for many of us LTHs. A great piece of work by GL to get this tied up, and really sets a foundation now to get back to what we want to be focused on

Cant believe the same garbage is being spouted about blaming JP, blaming the board, "they are crooks!" etc. etc. Jesus, you (and I) invested in a High Risk AIM Oil & gas exploration company which had great prospects and limited funds to uncover them. It didn't work. Its no-one's fault, its just the industry

Thanks gaspunter. I’ve been invested a long old time and am well under water that’s for sure. I won’t deny remaining positive throughout, maybe foolishly I don’t know, but until the game is up it seems only fair to take the BoD at their word.

It also didn’t escape my attention how he threw his toys out of the pram in the immediate aftermath of TE8 yet did a complete 360 and rounded on others just a few days later.

shedulike & others - it comes down to what I said before. There is a balance between not enough/too much detail in an RNS. Remember RNS have various different audiences. The board seemed genuinely surprised by some of the assumptions being made from RNS’s and the intention was to try and be as upfront as possible without confusing people

The bottom line is Brian said that a permit is required for the chosen location for TE11. That requires work/input etc. And that has now been completed and we are waiting for the result. Is that as important as TE10 results? Of course not - and that’s where the focus is and rightly so

So yes, ‘management bandwidth’ is correct. In my view. But people will draw their Own colnclusions as seen on their board. Personally, did I think Brian was giving a genuine answer? Yes. Did he seem genuinely perplexed that people keep analysing RNS to the nth degree? Yes. Is he confident about TE10? Hell yes

Medi - no timescales. James was also challenged around giving a new timescale for GSA but wouldn’t be pushed. His view was he has given timescales in the past and it has been held against him. Fair enough I think, they don’t want to cause any more delirium on here than necessary!

He did say that dale price comes down to what a purchaser values (e.g seismic, proven etc etc) and that he can’t call what that is at the moment. That was interesting to me as indicates perhaps we haven’t had any discussions yet but who knows. As a (I’m sure the board seems me) ‘ramper’ this was the only mildly concerning comment for me

I think my take home today, and from talking to JP 1:1 is that they genuinely underestimate how RNS releases are pulled apart by PIs - Brian seemed genuinely miffed that the perf gun thing had become an issue when it was exactly what we did at TE6.

I guess it’s a very difficult balance to strike - information vs too much vs not enough vs PIs interpretations.

Jordan - 100%. I didn’t expect to hear this either but the lack of movement on TE11 has nothing to do with TE10 whether that looks like it may be positive or negative. They simply can’t move on it until they get the environmental impact analysis

Good summary cruncher - Brian did say that some of the 6 additional targets identified were ‘up to 1TCF’ each. Didn’t say how many though, but positive nonetheless
