No idea, sector is out of favour because of Geo political situation leading to varied rising cost which may include interest rises.

We holders have to wait long time to coup our losses.

These wide fluctuations happens in time of uncertainty like tariffs and reversal policy of US on Geopolitical front, there seems nothing wrong with IAG at the moment so I would suggest hold tight because loss is loss when you sell.

Buffaloben: Absolutely there is nothing wrong with IAG: that is quite normal sometimes after it is leapfrogged , it fluctuates before it starting upward trajectory. Results were excellent and future booking are good and it is a matter of time before it starts upward momentum:

Some people come up with different theories of their own makings and predict going even below £2.80. In the light of results and forward booking there is no reason whatsoever to start upward momentum soon.

They are held in treasury and they will not be cancelled but for dividend purposed are not counted!

There is nothing wrong with IAG but due to geo political position changing fast I have closed my positions by taking profits.

This is not terrible share! People are comparing with RR ! They must not! RR is an engineering giant with various technologies whereas IAG is air line which has more risks. I know if you compare with RR shares in issue , IAG are half but more revenue and more profit. You never know it will perform one day like RR if institutions start buying it rather than retail investors.

Results are excellent and beat market expectations. Since massive share buy back , some increase in dividends and above all future bookings are strong and in demand so upward trajectory is starting and will continue for some time to come. There is no need to sell and buy if you can ?

There is more likely chance it will jump tomorrow provided dividends are increased and statements of substantial bookings of this summer.We should see at least to £4 marks in the next few weeks.

If the results are excellent as predicted and provided dividend is increased , it should easily go up by at least 30 p

Let us hope Sund they increase the dividends leading to SP on upward trajectory again. Hopefully results will be excellent leading to dividend increase !

Hopefully Sund all the indicators are it should and it will probably march towards £4 mark but you never know it depends on CEO future statement and let us hope it increases dividends and possibly reduction in some debt leading SP marching upwards !

Shorts are closed so it seems results will be excellent!

Remember it is not always exponential, there is always pull back excusing some times results, ftse down spirals or other geopolitical or brokers updates. In my view the results will be excellent and momentum will start again by cutting some debt, increase in dividends and some buybacks.If for some reason it doesn’t happen , so it is a stock market , we should expect some time losses on contrary to winning all the time which is very rare.

Absolutely Russa66. After results which will be excellent and by adopting more share buyback, some dividend increase and above all some reduction in debt, it will easily cross over £4.00. It is very funny that once it starts to drop , all so called experts come with different theories .
