I’ve been digesting this now for an hour or so and it’s a huge thing for us... sticky investors will squeeze and push this very rapidly towards... well you know I’m really not sure... Art’s played a blinder so far... this is being very well orchestrated... massive volume incoming!

Well that weekend flew by... I’m thoroughly looking forward to a great couple of weeks ahead... share price is just noise at the moment. The thought of the Atomic deal coming to fruition and literally pumping oil within weeks/months is amazing. I looked through some of my notes this afternoon from about 6months ago and it was a one trick pony... a little worrying about the one dimension.
Fast forward and ‘hopefully’ it’s very, very different storey...

Good debate and interesting threads this morning... I tend to look at the macro points around a deal, share... those being...
- Price of oil is twice what it is when the deal was struck... I certainly see a 20% increase in oil price by Q3 2021
- A large lending institution who’s forensic accountants have poured over the detail and like what they’ve seen is a massive win for me. These guys are not charities. Far from it. In fact this has to be one of the toughest times ever to secure funding
- Art has already confirmed a target of 5000 bopd by year end. Boots on the ground will be desperate to get back to work and will be pushing like mad to ramp up production
Personally I’m not interested in Africa any more... Atomic is the springboard we needed. IF and it’s a big if... Nigerian officials pull their lazy, corrupt, fingers out then OPL226 will be a very nice bonus this year.
I’m now very interested in what’s next?
I would imagine Art is considering Atomic a done deal... So what else is he working on? How many other “Atomics” has he been courting?
I won’t be drawn on short term price estimations... I’m looking at the mcap achieving circa 90m Q2 into Q3...

Denial... not sure... reading and interpreting one way or the other is exactly what we are all doing here. I just don’t share your same pessimism... we’re not talking about lending a fiver down the pub. These are huge financial institutions.... the return clearly states the loan has been agreed. $65m... (big sigh!!!)

I too am disappointed and slightly surprised. But then we know a good few on these boards who sell into any predicted rise.

Hey... To be honest having dealt with "Africa" on numerous occasions... I'm inclined to say, F'ck-em... If they want to mess about, take their time and continue being 'unprofessional' then we'll move our focus elsewhere... Exactly what Art has done. I would suspect Africa is well down on Art's list at the moment. I reckon he's doing the due diligence on another basket case company which we can come in and re-energise. Just think what the employees at Atomic think of COPL. Without our deal they'd be all out looking for a new job!

Hey Jiving... you are probably right about the Canadian investors being more knowledgeable... although the same info is ‘out in the wide world’ so the same research is available... there’s no beating contacts, experience and local knowledge though... I also think many investors and traders are less fickle about individuals... Art’s past performance is just that... in the past. I take every situation on its own merit. Yes I think about past ‘activities’ but I certainly don’t let it dominate an investing decision.

LB... I’m not restless at all... we know the audit is on going... the financials should be a formality... anyone who understands what’s going on here won’t be panicking... I expect huge buying to continue today and for the rest of this week. The ‘NT’ buying gamble is becoming more challenging...

Ha.. reading this board this morning and surprised to click the link and see my Twitter post... Ramp... really. Absolutely nothing rampy at all. All the facts are there... I genuinely believe this is close to a deal. Recent conversations and exchanges with AT has given me renewed confidence. I was thinking of cutting my loses back in December... 2m + shares are going nowhere until a vote is needed.

Demonstrable confidence to the markets... Art wants this to work... you know I think this is going to go down well...
