The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Interesting point tsbs1 - I would say that COPL are leading the discussions here. Why would we give everything away on day one. A JV on part of our our land will get the ball rolling. Exxon know exactly what we have and will play hardball to get it. The Denbury acquisition makes our land even more valuable for Carbon Capture. (Oh... clearly it could also be another oil company in the vicinity other than Exxon, before people start wetting the bed).
Trans... Your view on the LOI and the implications there of is laughable. Do you honestly think Art and the team have the time and energy to make this kind of stuff up.
Parasitic leach on these BB's.. Really sad.
Production at Zanaga has always been about the infrastructure. Roads are rubbish and therefore the railway link is the key. Oh and the port… clearly.
I’d say the Chinese production plan would be ready for tender early Q4 23. 3-6 month process…
Agreed Tommo. Back to the sidelines for me...
Trans... I'll give you one thing. Your persistence is commendable. Your ability to wind up members of this board is really tiresome. Genuine question... Have you not got anything better to do?
Unusual drop on Zioc. I see that retracing tomorrow. Unbelievable opportunity.
Lots of posts being removed... Hmmmm
Morning all
Overall a moderately positive report. Huge potential which needs unlocking. The Chinese know all the figures so getting them to run the numbers again is sensible. Certainly doesn’t rule out the Saudi interest. In fact it could work in our favour as the Chinese probably have huge reach into Saudi already.
AT has been driving this for years. He’s dedicated most of his career to Zanaga. Having spoken to him many times he will be looking for the best deal, (obviously) for us and his team. Route to market via the sea has always been preferred over land infrastructure going north.
If the Saudi’s do want this they will
Pay handsomely for it. 4/5bn. Very deep pockets playing a long game.
Wow… just crazy numbers.
Good post Shrewd... It's been a long road and I'm not sure I understand where the end is. This has been a total surprise over the past couple of months. May the rise continue.
Once again thanks for continual excellent posts from this board...
God I thought I’d have a look at the chatter this evening. As soon as I saw that Spasmo was back with his chums I think it’s best to come back next week. Sad pathetic £1 a post losers!
P.s after seeing the Exxon salaries I’m putting in for a pay rise!
So the vote nonsense has done the rounds and clearly some are more eloquent and knowledgeable than others.
What’s next on your list spas20?
Conspiracy theories around the procurement process for pipe work?
The outrageous price of tinned tuna in Morrisons… ooh or the fact that Fortnam and Mason charge for delivery. Damn cheek I say!
I know… it’s that old favourite. Is the Loch Ness Monster real! Hmmmm!
Bill... Once again thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts from the meeting Matt.
Afternoon
Lovely to see all the shorters peddling their bile on here this week… god it’s embarrassing…
As I said… take a break. You’re constant whining and whinging is boring. Man up and stop assuming you’re the messiah. You’re not.
Stas - you are a bore. Transparent, twisted… maybe something else beginning with T. Even relatively good news like a blue day here and across the pond has to be all negative. Take a few days off fella.
So my reasoning behind the questions is thus... Why spend so much money on developing a port? Imports will be irrelevant. Exports the primary. What is there to export? Who will use the port. List so far :
1 - Zanaga
2- Sapro
3 - ???
Just thinking…
So if the port is built… dry dock… all singing and dancing. Who else apart from Zanaga would benefit from it. I’m trying to think wider than let’s say 100km!
If the railway infrastructure is improved then it hooks in lots of opportunities.
Do we know how many mines are in, let’s say a 500km radius?
