Share Split18 May 2009 13:37
It is in the depths in Gregg's web site, and mooted at their recent agm.
Greggs have always been an expensive share, I remember them being value at £50.00 a share, a lot of money.
To make them more affordable they have given them a 1:10 split. so for every share you owned you now have 10 shares.
So your £50.00 share becomes ten £5.00 shares, {or a bit under four quid today!).
So Gregg shares now look affordable and more attractive to trade.
The huge apparent share drop above is just a mathematical glitch and will have sorted itself out by tomorow.
