Discount vouchers27 Sep 2012 16:14
I too have a wadge of these in certificated form, as well as a bigger wadge in my dealing nominee account, my vouchers arrived thi morning. It would be nice if I got two lots, but would be a bit greedy, but would not have sent them back.
Bit of a no brainier here, you need two hundred shares to qualify, when the shares were 10p each twenty quid would have got your your 200 shares, and you would qualify for the thirty four quid 'cash back' so to speak. Give a few shares to your mates and relies and it is the gift that just keeps on giving. You have to spend sixty quid now to set someone on the road to share ownership.
Mrs Sid is still serving behind a counter at Thorntons, constantly hitting their sales targets, exceeding them by 50% at times. The staff get a wonderful discount because they are staff, so my share discount vouchers are a bit redundant to me, free to good home Queen E if you want.
