cheers for that clarification ,
31st March 2016. ASX ANN.
"The Company has terminated its Heads of Agreement with Lithium Australia NL (ASX:
LIT) involving the potential use of the Li-Max technology. Whilst the Company
considers Li-Max to be a viable process warranting further investigation, it has been
unable to arrive at terms that are commercially acceptable to the Company.
CEO Keith Coughlan commented:
Is this what the Cornish guys are using? We are using a different method, I wonder if it has to do with the Patent we are seeking?
all very interesting tho .
I would like to think that the EU accelerate the later just IMO of course
I hope they see this as a kick up the backside in all areas too to get a move on or get left behind!
can I just get a word in edge ways ,please!!!! lol
logistics are NO barrier , to selling, not as Green as some others tho but it shows the demand for Lithium from just about anywhere will sell. but maybe s premium for the Greener product
I cant but help think that ever since we learnt about our need for expertice in the ways of German Finance that I cant see them who ever we end up being helped with finance from would also wish the Gigafactory to be in the Czech republic dealing with one set of Bureaucrats should be easier! Hungary looks out , If VW want 6 gigafactories they wont all be in the Czech republic so Poland could well have one at some point along with other contenders but surely it makes sense for the Czech republic and Germany of course to have theirs.
lets hope the ministers of "FINANCE and TRANSPORT" had a successful meeting , Czech republic has so much going for it all centered around Cinovec and processing, Finance disscussions for?
I wonder if VW are trying to get more help from the German government? I dont think they will get anywhere near going out of business but they wont be in as good a place as thjey used to be if they dont get their fingewrs out as it were, I know there is problems with other aspects of the Car like the chips, my heating engineer just told me this , that Mercedes bought up all the Grundfos heating pumps and took the chips out of them for their cars, now I hvae no idea if this was the case but it would show that there is most definitely a chip shortage IF they are doing that.
also it prevents your competitors getting hold of the lithium too, another strategy

I was thinking about VW and their high debt along with other car manufacturers high debt and who lent them the money and How were they getting it back, a prod from one of your lenders to not get left behind in the Lithium race would be a good starting point I would of thought, and seeing as this particular loan is tied to emmission targets I would of thought the need to reach those targets and electrify a higher % of the car output uppermost in their planning and along with that comes clean soursed Lithium with a very low carbon footprint , who has some of that potentially?
I wonder How much of banks loans are now tied in this way to sustainability?
my take too, wolfsbegr my be off thre agenda ( for now) but Giga factory still on IMO and still a strong outcome of it being in the Czech republic . Skoda want to Electrify as Czech republic getting the infrastructure for charging points etc going ahead
VW could hardly pull the plug on that id say, and VW arent stopping making EVs just a daft decision for Germany for the moment IMO. Unions can be a good thing but I think this time short sighted. maybe the Czech Unions are more forward thinking?
not long before the end of the year I cant help but think that the supply of battery raw materials would of been discussed,
