I shall repeat the question - WHY? Do you have any information, is it based on under 20 K's worth of small buys? Which of the project areas do you consider the most promising and why? If there are no answers then it IS just ramping, and ramping is just another word for robbing!!

Typical MM ploy: the price was rising nicely so they invent a few small sales and drop the SP accordingly to lock people in!

The company has established a JORC-compliant resource, at various cutoffs, from what I can make out. This would need to go through the stages of reserve calculation, with additional infill drilling if or as necessary, for reserve calculations to be done as part of a bankable feasability study. Nevertheless, the tonnage/grade composites look good. Anyone know anything about the geometry of the ore zone? Is it open at surface?

These seem to be climbing on the back of refinancing talks.

No change of opinion. They announced additional funding in late-Jan. Zambia is keen to support its mining industry. I believe metal prices will continue to bounce back, as the Northern Hemishere spring kicks in. Some mines have shut down and stockpiles will become depleted, and this wil help to further bolster prices. These factors should all be positive for ALD.

Re: administration - who knows? Note: administration is not the same as liquidation. There could be a return to shareholders, but I hope it will not come to that. Why haven't Balfour Beattie been named in the frame? They have construction contracts up to their eyeballs! A bit of vertical integration would not go amiss!

Actually, ENN owns quite a few granite quarries, in NE Scotland. The Aberdeenshire granites make a good roadstone as they are pale grey, fine-grained and durable. They do not suffer the same Permian-age climatic degradation that the SW England granites have, 'cos the ice ages scraped all the c**p off up North. Good. The MM's are real ***s. As soon as someone sells they downprice, then someone sells a few minutes later and the price goes down again. Yet look at the buys. Also, the sprepect the spread on GEM is downright ridiculous. I expect this spread (GEM) will tighten, with the mid-price remaining fairly constant, before hopefully they rise. After all, Zambian emeralds are the finest in the world, even though the market in the UK is in its infancy.
