Results not bad. Expect them, and the market, to rise.

Results look fine. They have only started producing this summer, and there were strikes in SA, so they should ramp up production from that.

I have just tried to buy 40,000 at a limit order of 4.2 p. They wanted 5, so didn't bother.

Hi carpetbagger. The price movement and stake-building in recent days does point to interest in this company. They could be a takeover target - in which case I would suggest First Quantum as a possible suitor.

Thanks for your communications. What I was getting at is that it is often easy to be cautious. Last November and December I could have bought FMCG (NYSE) at under $20. I spent evenings with a mate of mine who is one of their senior exploration managers talking about the tumbling share price. I had also worked for this company a couple of years ago and we both knew they had two big advantages - first they have some of the cheapest unit cost copper mines in the world and second the company is run by accontants. We both knew some of the senior directors who, by that time, had lost fortunes! My mate had little spare cash, I had lots. Eventually I went in in March at just over $30. Good profit made! Only regret is I could have bought 100 grands worth instead of 20! I think this company (MEDG) is a potential multi-bagger too!!

The point is this: when an RNS comes out pronouncing that another company is going to fund a company capitalised (at that time) at 6 point-odd million it's a no-brainer. They are bound to go up as they now have a lifeline. No, I didn't do any research as there was not time. I had never heard of the company today. But then research is not always a 'good thing'. Take for example 'Centamin Egypt': I was working in the Eastern Desert in 1994 and found some old Soviet exploration maps. One was a mineral potential map distilling geochem and geophys and structure. You could see how gold in soil anomalies corresponded to Red-Sea opening wrench-faulting in so-called 'jogs'. The Soviets at the time had little idea about making money from this - they were simply empire-building. Some of the locations were the source of the Phoraonic gold! I was asked by the Egyptian Geological Survey, to do a talk. The rest, they say, is history. A 1 billion pound company from which I have made precisely nothing. There were also huge tantalum deposits which a UK-registered company were developing - I don't know what happed to them they disappeared off the radar. All from one scrappy, dog-eared map. Sounds a bit like King Solomon's Mines, but I have kicked myself ever since for doing such a talk. Should have kept it all quiet. Opportunism is key to success, and I admit sometimes failure!!

I shall do. He is one of the country's leading radiologists, Cambridge-educated, nearly got the top UK radiological job about 5 years ago. He is pretty clued-up guy.

I shall email my consultant friend. Like many he works for the NHS and Nuffield, so if he thinks it's good he will tell his mates in both sectors. It was he who tipped me Futura Medical (FUM), which he believes will either be taken over or grow significantly as an income-earner.

Can't understand why more people aren't buying. I was happy to go in for 30,000 today. News will surely hit the medical press next - then the consultants and GP's will be telling their friends. Believe me, it does happen, as there are a lot of well-paid people in the medical sector!

Buy price now 11.5, sell 10.5.

The fact that this agreement is worth nearly 5 million quid is only part of the story. It is the step-up to commercialisation. Could be mid-teens by day's end.
