Yes, hoping for an overnight 'pop'!
If the UK wants to take a lead on this then we have the companies that could deliver at the international level. For example: https://www.delarue.com/authentication/domain-expertise/holography
I don't think the smartphone app option will work. It may work within a country but I'm imagining a plane-load of visitors - say 30 nationalities, rolling up at a destination airport each nationality with its own different certification app. I think a more workable solution would be to establish a common certification app. - or at worst a handful of accepted ones that all countries can adhere to.
Although Boris says he doesn't really like the idea of Covid passports I feel that there is an inevitability to this because of the implications of not conforming to what may well become an international requirement. The world will become used to Covid passports (as well as pre-travel Covid tests). I suspect because of the scale of international travel between countries in Europe, we and our near neighbours will be the first to realize and accept the need. I feel they will also be required in bars, cafes, museums etc. - at least in major cities where tourism is key.
3.3/3.5: Time to buy more
Hi Nate-PI. All I can say is be careful with stock market investing. A very close family friend who was worth at least couple of million (he had a nice house and a clutch of holiday cottages) lost it all through share speculation. He since died and his wife is left renting a cottage and has little money. It can become horribly addictive!
Only stating what appears to be happening with the MM's hahahehehoho. No need to be so rude!
I reiterate my earlier comment that the price seems to be hovering between 100 and 110.
Rajbury - that's OK - GLA!
Lucky moths!
Hi TheShareGuy. I don't agree that the RMS dealings were an investment decision. More like offloading a 'dud' because Trevor knew it would spark investor appeal but be very difficult to deliver (without luck). All sorts of 'whats ifs and buts' with Cu ion masks but one of the main ones is incineration in medical facilities.
Buys piling in at >110
Looks like the MM's are planning for it to settle in the 100 to 110 range!
Yes, great time to buy!
Seem to have stopped falling
1.8 / 2.0 time to buy!
It's a big market I agree - particularly if a specific test is more reliable and/or more rapid than the competition. If that is the case then I feel BRH would have to sell. If they try to do it alone they will run the risk of missing the boat - just as RMS have done.
Surescreen being selected in the Government's shortlist of 3 UK diagnostics companies was featured on BBC E Mids. around a week ago. Only one of these (Omega) appears to be stock-market listed. https://www.consultancy.uk/news/26949/government-and-pa-select-three-rapid-covid-19-test-producers
Hi Atisha, checking back the posts this afternoon there were very few deramping posts. I flagged a caution at 12.43 that this was moving into 'risky' territory. For whatever reason/s a number of leading risers this week had peaked at 12.45-ish and that is what happened here. Can't blame people for profit taking this afternoon after such a rise this week. I don't think the fall was due to excessive deramping - just people being cautious!
25/26 .... anything happening?
