Why resort to conspiracy theories all the time.. it’s very simple, everyone knows that oil is heading south for the time being so everyone sells on good news.. today’s news will be properly priced in when oil is stable and above $35 and on the way to 45 and beyond, which will be after the virus is no longer a threat.. until then we can’t expect any miracles regarding the sp here

It was obvious it will only spike, oil is in deep **** and we are extremely sensitive to the price of poo.. no one is willing to cut production atm so poo is heading only in one direction

No other way of putting it, this is enormous news for us! But the beat part is that it’s news that will affect our price in the future.. today am expecting a big spike but nothing more.. trump and saudis with their comments have created another oil bubble which I can see exploding before May if further reductions in production aren’t introduced (meaningful reductions).. if oil drops bk to $17 we will follow as always, so for me short term nothing changes apart from some ppl will make money on the spike today... still can’t believe we finally got a surprise that was good lol extremely happy with this!!

For that to happen we need oil above $50...

It doesn’t matter good or bad it will end in red.. ppl will be selling on the news just like they always do.. sp won’t matter if u rnt looking to trade.. what will matter is if they made progress on any of the deals etc and if they have a clear strategy going forward

It’s not flying.. it’s called profit taking from the shorters.. nothing to be happy about I’m the oil market.. it will drop bk to 16 and probably even lower.. demand still hasn’t improved the cuts haven’t happened and the storage is full... today’s rise here is very good, it will give a bigger margin for the fall.. just hoping to see some good news tomorrow and hopefully some clarification on the strategy as well if possible...

Try researching costs associated with emergency shut down of the wells... it’s not a straight forward procedure and if done incorrectly may require a new well to be drilled.. some companies have Tens of thousands of wells and they’d rather sit and do nothing then commit to something that will cost them a lot of money later

RD12 I don’t think u fully understood what happened yesterday with the wti May futures.. contracts were closing, which is normal for the end of the month trading, and the huge volume just pushed it to 0 and beyond.. spot price is the only indicator of what to expect right now, and I don’t see that going to 0 lol or single digits for that matter.. oil is in dire state but it’s definitely not the end of the world just a temporary opportunity to make easy money long term
