Looks like the market is pricing in a quite year for us.. would be interesting to see the reaction when they announce a 2 well drill campaign for 2020 after the meeting... could the fall in sp have anything to do with a potential placing to speed up the drills? Or are we just following the market trend and the oil collapse?..

Until further updates regarding the water issue the sp won’t move past 1p, no chance of that happening.. but on good news we should see the same lvl as we did before the issue came about 1.2p

Pretty sure Surinam will be pushed bk, you can tell from the interview that total badly want to drill this year and have discussed a 2 well drill campaign way in advance.. would make no sense to drill Surinam instead of the 750mb well with a cos of over 30%

I don’t see anything major happening this year.. also I have my money on a Democrat US president that will sort out the economic mess that trump has created.. this will inject more confidence into the global economy and in turn will drive up the demand for oil etc.. there is too much cash around so any dip will be swallowed instantly.. China alone will throw trillions to make sure demand doesn’t drop.. I don’t see any scenario apart from a global war, where we might have a financial crisis similar to 2008 or any previous ones

Exactly now that we have updated numbers, Tlw look even more stupid.. Guyana is the only way out for them from the mess they have created.. if they do manage to sell some of their assets in Africa they can fund an aggressive campaign here and sell 50% of their stake after, to wipe out the debt and finance more wells elsewhere etc..
