I agree this is good news for shareholders. It is looking more likely Gaydon is to close and all production moved to Wales over next couple of years. This would cut costs considerably and would make total economic sense for the future of AML.
Thanks PATTSV takes a good person to apologise good luck
PATTSV as I said about Palmer Needing to go . I think you need to read what I wrote again. Does it not all make sense now about Stroll getting rid of Palmer and the deadwood, I think my post say I was a little bit right wouldn’t you. I think it was about 2 weeks ago I wrote this and you ****ged me off. and a few others time and time again.
JEDCLAMPIT
Then what you are saying about it being a Canadian own brand if Stroll takes 30 % means it was a Kuwaiti brand before the IPO.
This is not the only company that will be putting a report out like AML has done today, so does that mean every company that puts a report that is not positive because of COVID 19 will go bankrupt and fold, no and I don’t believe this will happen to AML I am positive for AML but not about the board. stroll needs to rid the board of all the deadwood even if this means buying out the Kuwaitis to get the 2 Egyptians off the board who are the mouth pieces for the Kuwaitis. Yes they have their own shares given to them but they still represent the Kuwaiti shareholders. Most of the Kuwaiti shareholders did not by into the Rights Issue so have lost a considerable amount of Money as the share value has dropped. They will be holding the company back by being too safe and not wanting to invest anymore money And being negative to Strolls ideas. Stroll also needs to put a big name in the chair instead of Palmer, someone who is dynamic and a marketing genius. It will be interesting to see who they bring in as the financial Director. They have a temp in place at the moment due to the fact the financial director brought in by Palmer was asked to resign.
I bought in at 40 as I said in my old posts and will stick with it. I can still See it going private especially if it drops below 30 for a period of time. Hopefully with a 50% premium if it goes this way. If not then I think 60 would be a good point to get to after the Summer and hopefully we do not have another COVID lockdown which would be devastating not just for this company but for many companies worldwide, we will then be back to horse and carts. Be positive not Just for this British Company but for all British Companies.
Big guy behind your commuter arn’t you but let’s see what happens.
PATTSV I have reported your last post On this thread and I will be dealing with this comment.
PATTSV you can always look back at my posts. Nice to see you are positive as always, try something less bitter.
PATTSV loool if you only listen and not **** off. I am guessing we may hear about going private in the morning, it will be interesting if we do.oh and I bought in like I said at a very good price as I said it would. Apologies accepted.
On a lighter note do you think the car registration plate LA60NDA is worth more than the company now
How long does it take for a new model to go from drawing to being released. When did the DB11, Vulcan come out. When did the Vulcan, Vantage, DBS superleggera. the special editions all in place before Palmer arrived and came out after his arrival. The DBX the Ida was the again before Palmer arrived. The person putting all these models on the table was Marek Reichman. Building Aston Martin brand again before Palmer arrived was Katia Bassi and I don’t just mean the car , I mean the apartments in Miami, the Shop, the boat, all her ideas but again was pushed out by Palmer in 2017. Aston Martin was 100years old in 2013 And the 2nd century plans were put in place again before Palmer arrived. Also Aston Martin were looking to expand into a new factory when Bez was there but yes it was Palmer who made the decision to go to wales.
I will be fair and let you have all PALMERS ideas after the IPO
PATTSV I suggest you do a bit more information gathering. Everything you just mentioned about what Palmer has done was already in place before he arrived. Do you really think he just turned up and the magically put all this into place. Companies like Aston Martin plan cars at least 3- 5years ahead. How do I know maybe I was there who knows. Palmer has a lot to answer for for the mistakes since he took over from Bez. He was only interested in his back pocket as proved by rushing into the IPO 2/3 years to early.
It’s an amusing chat area first of all. Second I am waiting to invest at the right time so keeping an eye on what people are posting, but too many people at the moment are posting about investing or invested with their heart not their head. I agree Aston Martin is a top brand but many top brands are struggling at the moment what makes Aston Martin any better. Until the board is completely overhauled and I hear that Palmer is going then I will invest at the price it would be then. Stroll has to overhaul the board completely and get rid of the old wood.
No one knows we live in hope that you yourself make a right decision. You can only do your own research. But say nothing on this post because certain people get upset and start abusing you for posting on here because they are always right and don’t agree that you may be right while they are losing money because their decisions are ruled by their heart not their head.
That’s a fact .
Fact the shares are still dropping.
Fact I will buy in at 40p
Fact if the shares don’t drop that low then I won’t buy and I will lose out of the increase.
Fact if I buy at 40p and it drops lower then I make a loss but a smaller lose than if I bought at 50p
I hope these facts help
PATTSV I won’t get Involved in trading insults with a child, I am above that and left it in the schoolyard years ago but I guess you have not.
PATTSV If you had read my posts you would know I have not bought. Insulting people because you are losing money really shows how sad and miserable you are. Also please tell me if I have been wrong in what I have posted. Look at the facts I have stated. Using common sense and studying before you buy in a company always helps. Yes you never always get it right but in this case all the pointers are there and from day one and before the IPO. I will take one for you. Why were all the dealerships forced to take more new cars on their books before the last full returns before the IPO. Reason to boost he profits before the IPO. So guess what happens the following 6 months, yes the factory sales to the dealerships drop so profits drop. I wonder why?
Only the right timing is needed to make your move just before Stroll and the Italians make their move.
Except the people who are blind to see what is going on in front of their eyes.
