Reading today's posts its evident there are only 2 camps here which any one is allowed to belong to. And if you post the wrong thing one can get kicked from one camp and banished to the other.

I'm not in either camp. I don't feel a need to be proven wrong or correct on any point, question or concern I have raised. Not interested in " I told you so's".

I just like reading what you all think. If it makes sense to me, l'll agree. If it doesn't, l'll explain why I have that opinion I do. If we continue to disagree, that's ok.
I don't sit and wait for positive message to be posted so I can pick them apart with negativity. But if many see me as doing exactly that, I accept it.
This is a forum to debate & some don't like it when you debate. I find it odd.

I don't agree that "me not understanding" something means that I am seeking a negative result. I'm just someone who asks as many questions as I feel I must until it is makes sense to me.

I think one can have other views that don't have to fit into the 1 or 2 parties you have created.
Debating the semantics of adjectives or declarations like "not successful" will have people getting very irksome all day.

"Criteria of the drill" sounds to me like saying " one can drill a well for reasons other than finding oil".
Not trying to be rude or confrontational here. Its just how I've read it.

A field development starts with a discovery of a large deposit/s of hydrocarbons.
Without a discovery, there can be no development.
I will add here that I watched an interview of S Potter (pre-drill) saying the Bahamas licence could contain up to 28billion barrels of undiscovered oil. No body can pull that number out of a hat without data that indicates it. That statement reassured me that P#1 would strike oil.  (._.)

If the oil isn't where the data said it would be, then I don't know what to think. I'm not a geologist or a petrophysicist.

Does the Bahamas licence require a company with unlimited funds to be motivated to now go searching for it?
Is it too deep to reach? Is the oil to thick to move? Are there 10 other targets that Potter hasn't told investors about?
Its a lot of uncertainty which is reflected in the share price.

We all want to believe the oil will  eventually be found  and it will gush.

When the RNS was released it didn't contain any data. Some believe that's because the data hadn't be analysed yet. I am confused as to how BPC can hold Farm In discussions with no well data? What are they deliberating?? The definition of a W.P.S perhaps.
Maybe the unsolicited approach was for exclusive rights to analyse the data.

Saffron 2 is the no brainer appraisal well that can only increase the reserves when classified.
What makes sense to me is the EOIP data was enough to secure funding at 0.008p from the financial institution.

I wish they "TR-1 the HE1" investment down a percentage to raise some petty cash instead of issuing new shares eh.

I will be ecstatic if Scirocco announces they have done a deal in which they now own a percentage or own outright of a cash generative asset.
This will mean the BOD will no longer have to issue placings or get a loan to pay wages.

I don't agree with your opinion that the market ignored the W.P.S paragraph in the RNS. Thats a lot of people you have presumed don't understand & can't make good trading decisions. I think they do understand the RNS but they too don't know how to value a W.P.S. I think if there was a paragraph detailing or even loosely mentioning a structure they found, chose not to drill, area of non commercial net pay or type of hydrocarbons present; the share price would of recovered. And I believe it will recover when "the analysis is complete" and an RNS is released. Even if no further RNS on P#1 is released I think the SP will recover.

I accept a lot of posters believe BPC didn't release that info because the analysis hadn't been done yet for BPC to put in an RNS. And everyone is free to believe in that or have that opinion. I don't think the market does though.

Saying that... being as Ruvuma is not going to be monetised for the foreseeable future, maybe 5 years from now. That would mean Scirocco would have to wait 5years + before they would start getting royalty payments with this kind of deal.

Actually this debate with ArielArrow has sparked a train of thought.
Maybe the way out of Ruvuma would be to sell to the Zubairs for $1, and in return they shall get a 5% royalty when Ruvuma goes into production. Which will ratchet down percentage wise until Scirocco get the negotiated valuation paid back.

This could also be applied to a JV sale agreement with AEX & APT so they both gain 12.5% each.

Do you also have this opinion about Scirocco's stake in Ruvuma, that if they don't get a Sale or Farm In that they will sell their stake in the JV into the open market?
