I don’t short stocks Trenners, is too risky for me but aim does and I think they have a point but only short term.

The risks for me are sued from hack, FC outflow this year 65-75m, cost of getting rid off evergreen contract and still not sure about Ofgem situation yet.. I’m waiting for some of this to be cleared up first.. after march results best time to invest imo

New fed chair should be announced by Xmas.. Hassett is odds on but Whoever it is.. they will be cutting rates more aggressively and will be running the US economy hot.. get ready for a big increase in US and crypto asset prices.. 😁imo

Looking briefly.. will this be the 3rd time it has tried to break through that level? I’m still unsure here.. 400million market cap for a company that’s going to be 65-75m out of pocket come march results seems a lot to me.. personally I’ll be back investing here after march results but have no idea what the sp will be.. could be more, could be less.. but I think the main run in the sp is going to be when they announce positive FCF and hopefully in h1 results or maybe June update..

If it does aim I can buy more.. no problem.. did you open short here? I’m still uncertain about budget aftermath and few other things. Shorts not budging?

Agreed, Marshall Wace are by far the best in the business…if they show up then you’re pretty much cooked.. they haven’t been here for a long time though. Qube Research were here for a while last year and they did well.. wonder if they’ll show up🤔

Aim, It looks like they’ve increased just before budget. They did get it right last time… Not sure what the other shorts are doing as they had positions open all the way up the last rally. Be interesting to see if they close out before dec update.🤔

Still debating whether to invest before December update though.. going to see how budget goes first.. but I think the 250m cost savings program being completed and with more possible cost savings from AI progress could seriously boost the sp… it’s that vs potential cost of getting rid of 20m evergreen contract, being sued from hack and still not sure about Ofgem situation yet.? Personally I think the fed wont let the US markets crash. The uk is a different story.. I’m waiting for budget and few other things before I reinvest back in capita or any other uk stocks.

Us Interest rate cut in dec has flipped from 39 % to 73% after John Williams, president of the Federal Reserve said.. There is "room for a further adjustment in the near term to the target range for the federal funds rate.
