I think oasis invested originally, thinking AH and team were capable of turning this around but now have realised they’re in too deep..

Oasis turned their TRS into voting shares and bought more to get a member on the board.

Long term I think this will be sold for a decent price for shareholders but short term, could be volatile, that’s why shorts are stacking.

Is it because they know management are in too deep and now have to get involved?

As good as AH and the rest of the team are at AI/tech, are they in too deep to actually run a big business like capita?

No.. 2022 FY results on 3rd march 2023 SP spike due to positive FCF that year? 43p then crash after hack 30th March 2023..

@shorty - we aren't even at 24p yet (old money) and we were up in the 43p level immediately before the hack..

Tren.. they were showing FCF on the balance sheet at that point though? That’s why it got back up to 43p.. 2022 results I think 🤔 we’re not going to be showing that these results..

Trenners, I’m totally confused as to how it’s going to play out..lol.. We know the numbers aren’t going to look pretty.. but… and this is a big but.. the £250m cost savings program.. if completed (which I’m 95% sure will happen) will that in itself be enough to guarantee positive FCF.. next year..? That’s what I may have missed as the market is fwd looking.. but there are other risks as I previously mentioned.. so I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen..

The shorts are definitely holding me back at the moment..

Trenners, I’d definitely agree with what you’re saying about capita’s future and new management..

But on the 3 of march 2026 or around that time 😁 the books are still going to say… net financial debt up ^ reflecting free cash outflow of 65-75m… it’s not going to look great imo..

Is that priced in at this market cap..? Not sure tbh..
