We have a couple of things that have come to light one before Putin moved in, and the other as a result of the invasion...
Firstly, the Green transition was politically motivated and the world isn't fully ready to down grade Gas & Oil any time soon - wind stops blowing & the sun goes in, then what ?
So Gas is likely to be our best friend through a "real" transition on the ground.
Secondly, this invasion has magnified the problem of socio-politically risk free energy supply. Forget Russia, the West et al will already have be planning around not using Nord Stream 1&2, or Russia's Oil, irrespective of the fact if Putin walked out tomorrow...
Additionally, this whole Russia isolation problem (since Crimea in 2014) hasn't been new news - i know for a fact that senior armed forces personnel including pilots have been having intensive Russian language lessons throughout 2021.
Tells me planning for this position we find ourselves in will have been carried out already. But as mere mortals we are fed by the BBC as things unfold (terrible as it is for those Ukrainians)....
So for the last 18 months i have been investing in exploration companies on land for: Copper, PGM's, Nickle, Cobalt, etc - all just like Oil & Gas being under explored in the last decade, with a view to have exposure to the green movement and have assets that may fair well during the next phase of economic inflation (which isn't temporary by the way).
Yesterday i invested £25k in both JOG & BOR - looking to gain exposure in the Oil & Gas future as Major companies respond to future demands for sustainable risk free supply made by Western economies.

"With our global metals processing strategy in mind, and with a very healthy balance sheet, we are confident that any future bank and structured funding that may be required to grow your company can be secured on substantially better terms,” it told shareholders.
"ACAM, as a strategic shareholder in Jubilee, has expressed a keen interest to seek further funding opportunities with Jubilee in support of our growth strategy in Zambia, Jubilee said...."
Really - what a surprise !!
For anybody who didn't catch the excellent news from the investor call on Friday.

· Modelling the 2020-21 reverse circulation and diamond core drilling campaigns2 at the Big One Deposit produced a maiden JORC 2012 compliant MRE at 2.1Mt @ 1.1% Cu for 21,886t contained metal
· In calculating the MRE, the geology team primarily used data from the 2020-21 reverse circulation and diamond core drilling campaigns to model the final outcome
· In addition, there is an estimated 2,459kg (2.1Mt @ 1.2g/t Ag) of contained silver metal credits that modestly boost the overall result
· The underlying orebody - which commences from surface - is not fully defined, as it remains open to the east, north and down dip
Looking really good.

You are correct - I was at the meeting and CB definitely made the statement about securing 2MT and clearly this was before the discovery of the 2nd Porphyry "Ascot".
In terms of the silence - my strong belief is that CB's intention is not to lead to the point of the AAL option trigger through RNS releases hole by hole (i think CB would call that incremental SP increase through a death of a 1000 assays..!)
He is a commercial guy who will be talking behind the scenes with those Majors most likely to have an objective - tangible reason in BR. (Newcrest, et al). Nothing wrong in stoking the fire before you talk serious to AAL and before you release the full data (conceptual pit, Ascot, etc) to the market.
Personally i am happy to wait for CB to get his ducks in line - his exit strategy planned with the variables mentioned above. I believe the most significant RNS release in the near term will be of 3rd party interest this could be in the form of...
1-> Decision to mine and 3rd party Major EA signed.
2-> AAL EA signed whilst assessing the full BR data before release to market.
I definitely don't think we will be reading about the full extent of the concluded Bush Ranger goodies before AAL or a 3rd party major does...

Excellent investor call - and It does feel like we have moved on from not agreeing a favourable deal at the the end of the EA last year to - a more favourable deal that is more likely to happen and with the same major AAL. Clearly the negotiations were ongoing and from that you could assume with the legal BS out of the way, an early clearance from the Zambian government must be one of the final steps - really really good news...
IMO from a proud owner of 2.6m shares who sat on his hands all the way through the BS !
Have a great weekend all - and you too Ella ;-)
SP up 8% during this webinar
ongoing discussions with a major / future partner...
cash rich
geo-physics very promising
3 majors interested - 1 tabled / favoured ??
legal cases all cleared
boom time !!
3 majors interested !!
SP up and Ella & CU - messages deleted ;-)
Is this too good to be true ?
lol - the fact you are bouncing messages with me on a Sunday evening about maybe investing tells me your motives - in with ELLA in to the green sin bin - anybody interested in what this clown has to say click on the name CuNextYear and look at his posting - he really is considering investing NOT and is only interest is de-ramping.

So with your time on this BB you agree Ella is just been feeding the BS ?
What's your interest in ARCM ?
simply wrong statements need pointing out
its not about balance its about accuracy of information or statements made and this BB has had its fair share of BS of the wrong kind, including Ella's
Ella - i filtered you last year because you were unable to answer my question - "why are you interested in ARCM ?" - and you still don't answer the same question coming from others on this BB.
I decided to look at your response to my previous post just to see if you still come up with the same Cr*p - and true to form you did...
FACT ELLA - i develop and sell businesses to Private equity - so i know a thing or to about exit processes (x3).
And to put it simply you are wrong - DD carried out by a Major would require that the vendor discloses any legal risk / case (or chance of one) and that if required they (ARCM) would warranty against the case, OR the interested party (AAL et al) would wait for the outcome before moving forward with their plans.
Back you go the filter bin ;-)

"l'm probably wasting my breath but how about trying to return this board to the way it was previously, somewhere to find and share information, rather than the battleground it has become. "
No your not wasting your time - i for one totally agree with your point.
In a sense the clock has been reset to where we where before the recent legal process started, and i would suspect that interested parties like AA et al will be watching with interest.
Remember majors don't sign AE's for no reason and with the recent legal process behind us the future looks very promising.

Yes i do remember - and i think it was about trying to get round the AA agreement to get to the open Market...
If i remember the rationale was that...
A -> not sure that would be totally legal
B -> that the best plan was to get the biggest proved up asset to get the best value / approach ultimately from which ever direction it comes from either AA (via 2MT option or decision to mine), Newcrest, China M, et al...

Totally agree with both yours and F79 points - the recovery company you are talking about is my biggest holding followed by ARCM.
I strongly believe that the tailings recovery industry will be swallowed by the majors or by down stream end users of copper securing future metal.
I also believe that whilst copper recovery from dumps is a much quicker and less risky return it in know way shape or form replaces the need for more mines. There is such a future need as Kullybahia points out it will need all forms of supply.
It's my belief that we are already too late for the supply that's required and the demand and price cycle will be very long...

stevemocal,
In which case CB must be looking to "hit" the market with a big announcement about the size of the resource (BR + Ascot, and the pay dirt or 3rd porphyry in-between the first two porphyry's) and serve the letter (decision to mine) on AA - fully anticipating a re-rate of the SP, while AA makes their move or not...
What else could it be...?
