RE: Balance required here.3 Apr 2026 17:30
AIdebaran, you may be thinking why am I here.
Firstly, after observing for some time now, I don’t like people who play the market and sow an ever changing description to lace their own pockets It’s a deplorable and shameful act and I have seen this over this time.
I hope to apply some balance here. That’s all.
I stumbled across AFC energy after generally searching future fertiliser investments as I see the unfortunate Middle East crisis impacting this very value chain alongside oil and gas for the long term.
Yes, you’re right, oil and gas exploration in our north seas may pay us some time and I absolutely support this like you, as this will be the bridge between better efficient and securer models.
I see ammonia as a serious fuel carrier and value chain contender.
I must say I find AFC Energy offers something quite different and extraordinary compared to others. You will have to do your own research and this certainly is not financial advice.
Why you may ask; our dependency of the oil and gas industry and its models have been built on exposure to disruptions within the heart of the Middle East and other places. In our modern world today, it is plain to see that this is not a strategy but exposure and a calamity.
Who would build a model like this today I ask?
Yes I have BP and other FTSE 100/250 companies within my occupational pensions and rightly so, but as an individual retail investor I have to realised the importance of a new and emerging change that is happening right across the renewables space.
We must embrace and invest in all forms of the energy mix.
They are all so important if we are to grow as a nation.
