sorry Ivy, but I couldn't read much of that as I am currently residing deep within a reinforced concrete nuclear compound . . . . for the rest of the day!!
Peel Hunt reaffirmed their buy rating on shares of Motif Bio (LON:MTFB) in a research report released on Thursday. Peel Hunt currently has a 1.08p ($1.52) price objective on the stock. . .
yes, tend to agree Ivy but it does imply a few extra months being added here before we see, say, 50p (imo). But hey, we've been here three years, so what's one more!? ATB and have a good weekend.
Hello Ivy, not sure about you but given that NDA submission is the one thing that is 100% guaranteed here, I am only expecting a small uplift on the RNS (maybe 4p?). The actual 'acceptance' in late 2018 will be THE catalyst here as it is (despite our hopes) not a given until they say it is . . . . . got any thought specifically on what you expect from the share price upon NDA submission??
Remember that this is a share tip for 2018 with The Daily Telegraph. We will resume the upward trend through to results and beyond. I have us to hit £1 in March...latest. The DT get this right a lot more than they get it wrong. Bullish trend still in place here guys. ATB
"Motif Bio plc (NASDAQ:MTFB) has been given an average broker rating score of 1.00 (Strong Buy) from the two analysts that cover the company, Zacks Investment Research reports. Two research analysts have rated the stock with a 'strong buy' rating. Analysts have set a 1 year consensus target price of $28.67 for the company, according to Zacks. Zacks has also given Motif Bio an industry rank of 116 out of 265 based on the ratings given to its competitors". Have a good day folks. . .
fingers crossed for today, as the share price at present, is looking a little vulnerable to predators!. With news still some way off, those looking to 'trade' MTFB will doubtless be looking to pounce on any dips. If we can get some consistency here then suddenly this share isn't worth trading as there is no margin/scope in it. . . it would be so nice to get back to 40p to help shore the price up a bit for February onwards. . . .fingers crossed.
IG well done; you'll get that filled. Plenty of pi folk 'trading' this each day, so there will be no shortage of sellers. When a meaningful RNS drops that will reverse within minutes. Until then, I suspect that the pi traders will continue to have the upper hand here. Fair play to them, but it won't last for ever! ATB.
And it seems the market concurs in early doors selling. Will this company ever put out a 'market pleasing' RNS? Writing that folk need to be patient just clearly isn't washing. Not going to watch this today so have a good weekend folks....
Just smacks of an 'early warning' that we will be diluting you in the future. This share needs a really good RNS pretty soon to stop the sellers. . . .
RE: So What Will Be The Catalyst?18 Jan 2018 09:18
yes, it's not exactly been an overnight success over at IMM!! But I am really happy for you guys, that you have been fully rewarded for your most excellent patience!!
RE: So What Will Be The Catalyst?18 Jan 2018 09:11
Not sure either. It's just weird that this company's share price has performed quite so poorly, over nearly three years, given where it is now in its exciting story. Surely, it HAS to be worth more than a paltry 107m?! Beggars belief it really does.
0 - 60(p) a LOT Faster Than MTFB!!18 Jan 2018 09:05
Oh.... and in light of what I wrote below a few moments ago, on Tuesday, I went ahead and ordered the new Porsche. Life's just too short to keep on waiting for MTFB to hit 60(p)! ATB :)
I'm trying to work out what 'event' will move this out of the range it is stuck in. For me NDA submission will have little effect, if any. If Phase III couldn't do it then NDA won't either (imo). So what might it be? I just am struggling a bit to see where another 15p+ is coming from here, before late Spring (April/June)? For me it isn't about 'quantities of risk' (i.e risk v de-risk etc.); rather it's about why there is so little movement...
Yes. 42p is the current trading resistance point and it's proving a formidable opponent. Feels like it has been wrapped up in reinforced concrete! It's all very cagey at the moment, but a much more chunky % up-swing may well be on the cards in the next week or two. You can't help but feel that we are on the edge of a more meaningful move here; cat and mouse. ATB
a really terrific market beating update. A strong day is assured here. Very impressive from Tullow. It is, in my opinion (and a good few analyst's), an even stronger 'recovery stock', for any 2018 portfolio. ATB
