Just gets better. Numis have slapped a “Buy” rating (again) on this and a £2.20p Target Price. There is a lot of money to be made here - assuming that another company doesn’t step in to acquire it next year, given how cheap it is. ATB

Now we know why! I see this resting at £1 and then on to c.£1.40p next year. That’s a very nice return for me. This has broken all of Barclays technical resistance marks so it could do really well from here. Certainly on today’s news it will not be back at 90p. This was heavily marked down but now that there has been proven to be no reason, they will walk it back up in due course. ATB

“Trading Resistance” = 17p. “Resistance 1” = 19p and “Resistance 2” = 31p. These figures taken from the Technicals Section at Barclays Stockbrokers today. Suggests a pretty strong chance of seeing that 31p as a minimum here and likely c.40p on offer news (assuming there is one). ATB

In my opinion, when we will get the RNS in relation to one or more parties placing an offer for all (or parts) of Flybe. I also still think that it will be in the 35p to 40p region. Time will tell, but the latter end of the week imo. . . .ATB ??

So much so, that I have just purchased another 14,438 shares here taking my talley to nearly 120,000 shares. ATB

Worry not. These things will always have slide backs, it’s the very nature of the Stock Market. It’s a democratic set up where people and institutions are free to buy and sell as they please and to their specific needs and timescales. An offer will take a while to come through as it’s not the £1 shop here! This will cost any potential acquirer close to £100m so they will take the purchase very seriously. Perhaps a better ‘barometer’ would be to keep an eye on Standard Life. If they continue to hold, having built huge gains here over the last week, then all is good. Be calm and carry on....ATB

that 'dummy sell' may well be showing .37p by the end of next week. . .

I work with SLA (Standard Life Aberdeen) every day and they do NOT buy to then sell out. They take quite a while to get their recommendations through the committee. It is not a PE firm which mostly act MUCH faster. SL is an Institution which is a MUCH slower beast!!

....that this will receive an offer (assuming there is one of course) in the region of c.£110m which would put this share at around the 50p mark. These things take time though. You need Lawyers, Corporate Finance Teams and plenty of Accountants - all of which like to take their time to maximise their billings!! No, seriously, it is quite a lot of money for any company, so I would certainly not expect THAT RNS this week; late next week is another matter however, by which time this should have cleared 35p. ATB

Funnily enough I also bought more yesterday and, funnily enough I also own over 100,000 shares here! Sadly however I am not the Chairman! Strong Buy this one and I’ll bet you the likes of BP are watching Hurricane like a hawk. . .

The Board's refusal to even put out a RNS to the effect that "our Partner discussions are on-going and are proceeding well" is scaring pi's away here. Seems a tad naïve of GL to think that silence is the way forward? That type of RNS clearly means nothing, but keeps discussions 'visible' and 'immediate' in my opinion and is therefore a very valuable RNS.
