Whilst invested in Rockhopper (Falkland Islands Oil Explorer), we all waited patiently at c.10p to 12p, for the reserves to be proven and commercial. The rest is history. Just 24 months later we reached £5.10p. Many holders became millionaires. Not me! But I did make a huge amount by selling in the £4’s..ATB

Ps. I should point out that I find it impossible to think that we will not hit 80p, which is a double on where we are at now (and would still represent a tiny multiple of sales; if those sales are not as much as some expect). Again I am more circumspect on this but 80p to £1 is a very conservative range imo. For me the magic turnover is £250m - hence the 80p first target marker for me. ATB.

Hi Jimzi, no not at all. I’m just very realistic here. I am up at present and have already banked £11,000 from my old days of trading this back in 2016 and 2017. I just feel that, at present, it’s a pretty fair share price, valuation wise. No reason to sell at all, though I do respect those that might wish to reduce. I however am in and will remain in until we get nearer to the pound mark. All good. Just a case of waiting! We’re all good at that by now!!

Excuse my ignorance but I wanted to ask how long it takes to bring the 'two wells online', following successful hook up?

Obviously, I'm looking forward to 13th February like everyone else but I am also not expecting too much, price wise. It may in fact be quite muted. I remain very happy with my '80p target' to be achieved at some stage this year. This share has tended to disappoint so I am learning/taking heed from that - expectations wise! I will be ecstatic if it 'changes its hat' though! ATB

Hi Ivy, no reason to disagree. Good news and I suspect that you are 100% correct. News like this deserves to be heralded in my opinion.

I sincerely hope that, in the event of approval, the Board have teed up a very good PR firm to get it ‘out there’. They will have had PLENTY of time to get this right if we are being honest. VOX interviews are WAY too biased and will therefore have zero impact. Just look at what a recommendation from The Daily Mail did for the share price, if you have any doubts with regard to how low impact GL’s VOX interviews have on the share price here. Why? Unless you’re invested here then nobody is listening! National tabloids/broadsheets/magazines etc. are an entirely different matter. They have a very real and broad followership and definitely impact the share price imo. ATB

Ian.B take a quick look at JUST (Just Group). Absolute nightmare! Every day 99% of all trades are ‘A’ Trades. Talk about a share driven by robots. I’m in it as I like the look of it as a nice 2019 recovery play, but the ‘A’ Trades are driving me 99% NUTS! The worst that I have ever seen - by far...meanwhile back on part human / part robot MTFB!!
