Yes exactly. The latter is important as, with Barclays, for example, it can take three days; so don’t panic if you don’t see the money paid in to your account today or even tomorrow. Big companies like Lloyds, pay out to a LOT of shareholders, so it’s a bit more technologically complex and therefore can take that bit longer! You WILL receive it however. . .ATB

I'm not personally expecting a Special but if they did, then it would be more aligned to a percentage of retained 'cash at bank' rather than a percentage of profit. Personally, I think it's still a bit too early for payment of a Special Dividend (or any other Dividend come that!). Maybe in six months time though. . . .

I fully expected to be good. But these numbers, pretty much across all territories, are exceptional. Factored in? We'll soon see. Either way (as you know how fabulous results can sometimes be reflected in downward share movement on the day; which is always baffling!!) I am very happy to remain invested here. Excellent Job KGF.

It’s not just one Fund Manages’ preferred option, or even two. Lloyds is mentioned by THREE different Funds, as a stock set to rise strongly as the UK economy roars.....a really encouraging read for all holders here! You can see it specifically in the section about “The Sectors Poised to Benefit in the Recovery” (c. 70% into the whole article). It really is a VERY encouraging article and very different in terms of referring to the Banks being the ‘solution’ providers throughout this Covid crises and NOT the ‘causes’ (i.e. unlike the Financial Crises). At last the UK banks are being hailed as hero’s and not the villains; that alone is a MASSIVE step forward and bodes well for the next two years+. . . . ATB

were people buying in the 50's yesterday? It is madness, when everything was pointing to these being in the 40's today (as I did my best to highlight yesterday). It's crazy how many people gamble their hard earned money away, on highly speculative shares like this. Please ignore the disingenuous rampers here if you are thinking of buying in, as there is every chance that these will be in the 30's next week - or by month end. There's simply nothing to prop them up. . .apart from the large holders here, who are now desperate to persuade you not to sell! Don't forget that this was just 16p in December....dividend or no dividend, make no mistake, it can easily test the 30's and 20's again. CEO's, selling large quantities of shares in very small companies like this, is never a good sign. #catchingafallingknife

and this is exactly why you cannot consider BRH an 'investment' when all this kind of stuff is going on behind the scenes. It's a straight up 'punt' and nothing else. Shame really that TB does this, as he creates massive reputational damage

I do not honestly see how AML could have achieved any more than this. It is a very creditable performance and now puts down firm foundations for further innovation and growth. Assuming that the market is 'forward looking' today, then this share will do well today. It's a very good start to 2021. ATB
