They assured me this morning at 8:20am, that the Lloyds Dividends would be paid today; following a 'technical glitch'. He also said that this would be "within the permitted four working days". Not that we care to wait so long!

That was referencing people with Lloyds shares
with Barclays. None of us had received the Lloyds Dividend, hence why, after two days, I chased it up!

masters, I have spoken with Barclays this morning and all dividend payments will be made today. There was some sort of technical gremlin, but today's the day. ATB

Early doors of course, but it's a very creditable showing so far today. I had expected things to be pretty messy here, following the heavy US market falls. . .fingers crossed. ATB

Many years ago sadly. I hold 250,000 shares so the dividend is meaningful. But not so much, when this weeks' events are considered. It's been a sad week. ATB

Stupmy - "I'm still sticking with SP hitting 340 in the near future". . and you may well get it. If you look at how this has been ranging consistently, since early May (strip out the fake TB rise) and you're looking at early £3's to late £3's. Fully appreciate that that's before the latest set of results; but results RNS's have pretty much never had any impact in the past anyway. Indeed, I can see this share being stress-tested a bit, now that TB have bolted. Perhaps more weighted to the downside, than the upside for me. Some attractive buying opportunities will present themselves here I'm quite sure. ATB

NewKOTB I have just watched the video (from 19 mins as you suggested). For me, the CFO came across considerably better than the CEO. She had more gravitas in my opinion and 'explained' the 'situation' pretty convincingly. We can but hope, looking ahead to the end of this calendar year. It's a shame that this takes two steps forward and four steps back. We need some high quality PR in my opinion, to help wipe the slate clean; this would hopefully help to enable us to move forward in a more 'reliable' way. Fund Managers like 'reliable' as otherwise their Equity Investment choices tend not to get past the 'Investment Committees' that they must submit to, for sign-off! Onwards and upwards - with any luck. ATB

If this additional news is to be believed, then it is going to severely hold the share price back. The company just doesn't seem to be able to shake off the 'snake oil' tag. I sincerely hope there have not been any accounting 'oversights' or we will be in the £2's and £3's for a long time. Bloody annoying, that this has come up, as it's super super unhelpful. I'm signing off now, but we are, where we were, back in July. Not great, but certainly not a disaster. Organic share growth cannot possibly keep up with an "all share potential offer" share price increase. So, let's just get back to being 'patient' and (CR888 take good note here) 'realistic'. It's been a terrible day for DT and it will be ridiculed by the press no doubt; but it is just one day. Mine's a double - in fact make it a double, double. Good evening folks and chin up :)

Berylfu, you did well. I was watching with increased concern yesterday afternoon, but still I held on. The writing was on the wall with a 'day before' results increase in share price 'in anticipation' just not happening. I just thought "why is the share price struggling so much today"? Oh dear - I was so right, yet still I didn't pull the trigger! Gotta larf!

They will have known the share would collapse today. This resulted in (a) a rather glib glossing over of the TB talks and (b) perhaps being guilty of rather 'over-selling' (I personally thought) the results this morning, in order to try (without success, clearly) to mitigate the failed TB discussions? Don't get me wrong here; DT is moving in the right direction, but, is having issues trying to shake off the historical mire that seems to shadow its every move. The press will have much fun tonight :)
